Dion Baily becomes a unanimous MVP
choice.

Dion
Baily led the Diamond Division in 4 major stats
categories and became a unanimous choice for MVP this
Summer 2009 Season. Baily led the division in scoring
with 128 points (18.3 ppg), assists with 23 (3.3 apg),
rebounds with 67 (9.6 rpg), and steals with 11 (1.6 spg).
Baily was 5 three-pointers shy of leading the division
in 3-pointers and ranked 2nd in the 3-point category.
"He's one of the few elite players who refuse to play in
a lower division to pad his stats," said a league
analyst. "He wants to play in the top division because
he is constantly trying to challenge himself."
Lasalle Thomas is one of the most underrated
defenders in the division and this season, he averaged
8.0 rpg, (48 rebounds), 4 steals and 5 blocks for Young
Gunnaz. GM Kenny Ali, the GM of the Season, knows that
Thomas is one of the team's top defenders and he holds
the key to Young Gunnaz' return to the Championship.
Young Gunnaz finished the season with a division-best
6-2 record. With only 4 teams in the division this
summer, anything less than a Championship for Young
Gunnaz would be considered a failure.
"A lot of their guys have the personal accolades
already, all they really want now is the Championship in
Diamond," said a League Analyst.
Carnell Battle was named Most Improved Player of the
Season. He averaged just 4.5 ppg, 1.5 rpg in 2 games
last season for the Wolfpack. This season, he averaged
15.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg in 5 games for the Wolfpack.

POST SEASON AWARDS

Terrence Martin
wins MVP Award
After
winning Gold Division Finals MVP
last season, Underdawgs MVP
Terrence Martin started the
season with a 0-2 record. The team
looked like they were destined to
miss the Playoffs but Martin
promised to bring his team back.
"We'll make the Playoffs, we'll
actually win 6 straight," said the
outspoken point guard. No one
believed him but Martin made good on
his word with Underdawgs winning the
next 6 games. Martin averaged 20.4
ppg, 163 points (ranked 2nd) and 4.5
apg, 36 assists, (ranked 2nd). With
the team's success, GM Harry Yoo was
awarded with a co-GM of the Season
Award.
The votes between Ahron Knox and
Harry Yoo was split even and
both teams finished the season with
a 6-2 record. Throwback's became the
first team to be sponsored and they
started the season off with a 5 game
winning streak. Underdawgs enters
the Playoffs with the #1 seed while
Throwback's is ranked #2.
Rookie 7-footer Michael Boone
led Platinum in rebounds (69
rebounds, 9.9 rpg) and blocked shots
(18, 2.6 bpg). He was a candidate
for Rookie of the Season as well but
the honor went to Them Guys rookie,
Travis Bean. Bean averaged 23.0 ppg,
8.2 rpg but more importantly, he led
Them Guys to an improbably Playoff
berth in Platinum this season.
"Them Guys struggled in the middle
of the season but once Travis Bean
started showing up again, Them Guys
started to win again," said a league
analyst. No one expected Them Guys
to make the Playoffs but with Bean
in the line-up, the team finished
with a 5-3 record (ranked 5th).
B-Junkies missed the Playoffs for
the first time last season and this
season, sharp-shooter phenom
WalterJohn Tamidles went into
scoring mode. Last season, he
averaged 2.9 ppg, and had just
3-pointers as he spent most of the
time warming the bench for
B-Junkies. This season, the team is
back in the Playoffs and he improved
to 18.2 ppg knocking down 20
three-pointers in 6 games.

POST SEASON AWARDS

Kassah Kantiok takes Rookie of the
Season honors, Troy Allen is MVP
Troy
Allen led D-League to a 7-1
record after averaging 24.2 ppg, 7.0
rpg, 1.5 apg for Baldwin Park team,
Primetime. The Runner-up was
D-League's rookie sensation,
Kassah Kantiok. Leading D-League
to a post-season appearance for the
first time, Kantiok averaged 20.8
ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.7 apg.
The Rock and D-League turned both of
their franchise around
and
it was The Rock's General Manager,
Ben Sin, who was rewarded with GM of
the Season honors. Coach Sin spent
most of his time coaching The Rock
and when the games were done, he
would spend time scouting other
teams. His knowledge of his rivals
teams were on full display when he
was featured on Superstar Radio,
calling the play-by-play when
Buckets played against Kings of
Krunk.
BK Agu did as much as he can
for Ninja Turtles this season but
the team often showed up with just 5
players. Agu averaged 12.1 rpg, 2.8
spg, and 3.5 bpg to earn Defensive
Player of the Season Awards.
Offensively, his line wasn't bad as
Agu led the team offensively with
19.4 ppg, 1.8 apg. Fantasy Player
numbers are off the charts and he's
likely to win Fantasy Player of the
Season Awards this season.
Last season, James Foreman
averaged 3.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 4 blocks
for Premier. With the Chino Hills
teams struggling early in the
season, Foreman went to work leading
Premier to 5 straight wins. Foreman
improved his average to 9.7 ppg, 8.3
rpg, 7 blocks.

Brenda
Chavez wins MVP honors
Brenda Chavez led nWo, The Pack
to the best record in the Women's
Division with a 5-1 record. Chavez
averaged 4.0 apg, 6.3 ppg and 1.8
spg. The point guard for The Pack
would rather pass the ball than
settle for her shots and the
unselfishness pave the way to the
division's best record.
The defending Champions, Lady Air,
was led by Center Amanda
Livingston. She grabbed the
rebounding title by averaging 9.0
rpg and she finished with 45
rebounds in 5 games. She also
recorded 2 blocks and 3 steals.
Runner-up Brittany Passano of
We Got Game blocked 4 shots in 6
games and she averaged 7.0 rpg.
Rookie of the Season Bianca Nunez
averaged 15.0 ppg, 2.5 apg, 2.5 spg
for We Got Game. Her teammate

POST SEASON AWARDS
September

Dale Basingat wins first ever Most
Inspirational Player of the Season.
After suffering a pinky injury,
Dale Basingat vowed to return
with a vengeance. Basingat averaged
5.2 ppg, 1.8 apg, 1.8 spg to lead
Pharcyde to a 4-4 record.
"LeBronze was meant for fun, for
players who were injured coming back
from injury," said a league analyst.
"Basingat returned and picked up
where he left off."
The MVP went to G.B.O.B.'s rookie
Joaquin Zepeda. Justin Ondoy,
celebrating his second LeBronze
Division Chamionship on Week 8, was
a close runner-up.
In one of the most humorous Awards
acceptance speech to date, Most
Improved Player CJ Lardizabal
accepted the honor with the
following twit: "Found
out I got Most Improved Player and
3rd for Most Inspirational,Most
inspirational cuz with me in the
game the other team still has hope.
Victor Ng, not expected to have any awards, won the Fantasy Player of the
Season Award. His 2-for-2 (100%) put
him on top of the list in the
specific category. He did put up
respectable numbers for Assassins
averaging 14.2 ppg, 19
three-pointers, 2.0 apg, 9.0 rpg,
1.7 spg and 3 blocks. While most of
his critics are saying there's a
glitch in the system, the Commish
himself re-sorted the stats 4 times
just to make sure the numbers really
don't lie.
"Wow, we're not going to hear the
endless bragging by Mr. All Around
Player in LeBronze," said the
Commish. "We have this thing where
we walk around bragging about our
accolades in LeBronze, I guess he
has some ammo now."
