Michael Jordan worked on his game day-in and day-out… he did not come out of the womb making a mockery of NBA defenses. That is what makes a Champion, hard work and experience and that was shown on Sunday on both the Platinum and Diamond Division levels.

Superstar Basketball has a rich history of teams in Gold Division coming out of nowhere to claim the Championship. Last season it was Fabulous, the season before that it was That Same Team. This season, it was 10th seed Nusantra, a team that was going to be placed in LeBronze after their team won just 1 game the previous season before.

In the ultimate battle to finally claim who deserves to be crowned champions, Kenny Lee and company proved why it says “Daygo’s Finest” on their jerseys after beating The Fleet in the championship game despite a 2 point deficit at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Both teams started the game off slow as they both struggled to hit make-able shots.

Game Bang jumped to a 23-15 halftime lead and despite a 10-0 rally in the 4th quarter by Elements, Game Bang held on for a 45-44 controversial win. Game Bang claimed Superstar Basketball’s first LeBronze Division Championship while Elements are still wondering how the season went from fast break to heartache.

Jennifer Young stepped up to the line and the defending Champions chances of repeating was on her hands. The Lady Skull-basherz forward converted both free throws finishing with 17 points and 8 rebounds as Lady Skull-basherz won their second straight title, 44-42.
