+ Players need to have
basketball jerseys to play. You cannot
play if you just have a t-shirt on. You
need to have basketball jerseys!
+ Jersey techs will be called after Week
3. Teams need to have numbers on front
and back. Jerseys must be the same
color, not black and blue.
+ You have until your 3rd game to add
players to your roster. Women's Division
teams have until their 4th game to add
players.

REMINDERS
08.25.10
- THERE ARE ONLY 7 GAMES SCHEDULED FOR WEEK 7.
- WEEK 8, if your team isn't caught up with the
balance, you are not getting scheduled. I
stressed this early and a lot of you think that
I will "hook you up" just because, I know you.
LOL. If your team isn't caught up, you wont get
scheduled for the Final week of the season, Week
8.
- I have told you guys repeatedly to get ahead
of the schedule this season...and a lot of you
have done a remarkable job in being organized
all season. There are a lot of you GMs that are
on point this season and for that I thank you.
On the flip side, there's a lot of the other
ones who probably won't even read this and they
think texting me on a Saturday will get them a
schedule change.
- The amount of teams complaining about
officials is... 3. Way to man up, teams.
Thanks and hopefully I'll see you
guys in 3 weeks. Flying on 9/11...yikes. =( |

ABOUT 10 teams complained about their loss...and
coincidentally, all the complaints were from
teams who got an L this weekend.
Let me do my job, let him do his job. From now
on, I will not entertain your complaints, direct
all complaints towards him. If you want
authenticity, e-mail him and CC me on the
e-mail.
It's easy to mouth off after a loss but if you
really, really have a valid complain, then take
the time and e-mail him and CC me on it.

OFFICIATING & ADVANCED SCHEDULING -
WEEK 3

If I
were to grade our officials on Week 3, I
would probably give them a C.
There were botched calls, there were several
complaints, and I recorded at least 2 instances
were the calls were very, very questionable.
The good thing is, I'm there talking to
officials and when I did have a chance to show
them some mistakes, we did correct it right
away. Like I've said before, if you want to
complain to officials, please direct all
complaints to Head Official Reggie Ramirez:

considerably when about 5 teams (this week) are
talking to me about officiating. I have other
tasks to worry about, please direct all
officiating concerns to Reggie Ramirez.
When it comes down to it... not 1 call will
affect the outcome of the game. You could still
make your shots, you could still make your free
throws. To totally blame your loss because of
officiating is taking the easy way out and
pointing the blame at someone else.
GYM UPDATES
Schedule request has been posted for Week 5,
6, 7 and 8.
There are important dates this season so please,
please take the time to read.
August 22 - Week 6.
Walnut Rec is unavailable due to maintenance.
We have a full schedule at Roosevelt High
School. 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. (36 games)
We will have 4 games at Irwindale. 40 games are
scheduled for Week 6.
August 29 - Week 7
NO GAMES at WALNUT REC
NO GAMES at ROOSEVELT
We will only have 7 Rivalry Games scheduled for
this week.
September 5 (NO GAMES, LABOR DAY WEEKEND)
September 12 (NO GAMES, LABOR DAY WEEKEND)
FULL SCHEDULE. Schedule will be finalized on
August 25.
I will have limited Internet access from August
30 - September 11.
Therefore, Schedule will be final as of
August 25.
