Through Week 4, Buckets and B.O.B. are still the
top 2 teams in Gold Division. Both GMs Walter
Tamidles and Anthony Santos are
lobbying for a Week 8 match-up but can they make
it through Week 8 with an unblemish record? In
the Women's Division, Jodian Lyn is
having an MVP season for Double Up and 3G's
Sports Osh Dabbas is trying to be the
first player to win 3 titles in one season.

LESSONS ON THE ROAD
We're back at Walnut Rec this weekend. One thing
I did learn was KARMA.
Let me explain. There was a time last season
when time wasn't a big deal. We were running 10
- 15 minutes late and our games would run past
6:30 p.m. It was very inconvenient for the
tenants that rent out the gym at 6 p.m.
The last 2 weeks at Upland Sports Arena was a
taste of our own medicine. Having to wait until
3 p.m. to play our 2 p.m. game was very
inconvenient and we had a lot of complaints from
teams on Week 4. There's NOTHING I can do if NJB
is running late... PERIOD.
With that said, our games will run on time at
Walnut Rec. If your game starts at 12 p.m., the
clock starts at 12 p.m. If you're late, that's
too bad, time will start.

teams, 3 years into the job, some would think I
got it down on lock but I'm constantly trying
out new things to improve Superstar. One thing I
did notice was this guy... SD COMMISH, RYAN
FRANCISCO, would start the clock no matter
what, on the DOT!! The only time we did run late
was.... when I ran SD Superstar for the weekend
when he wasn't there. I guess I'm taking notes
from his playbook and we're starting on the dot
from now on.
TWITTER
One other thing I did notice was that a lot of
the GMs weren't receiving info when we were
running late. Having to call everyone, text
everyone, I never really did that and I just
told everyone first-hand that we were running
late.
So I've been messing with my twitter...(LOL) and
yes my
twitter works. Anytime there's updates on Sundays,
it will be posted on Twitter. Whether we're
running behind because of OT or whether someone
just scored 50 points, that twitter on the
website will provide up-to-date news.

GETTING A BAD RAP
Another week and another delay. I hate it more
than anything else. When it's out of MY CONTROL,
I really can't do anything about it. When games
from another organization run late, it affects
US. Sometimes we overlook having to wait an
extra hour, sometimes we just deal with it.
Not only do teams have to stay an extra hour but
our staff has to stay an extra hour. Not only
that but our refs get paid an extra hour. I own
up to my mistakes but when it's another
organization that causes these delays, another
organization that does something for the kids,
then I really can't say anything.
JERSEY RULE
We have to enforce the jersey rule. We have
little girls gossiping on the sidelines saying
it's a bad rule but where were you during the GM
Meeting back in January? We gave you a chance to
speak on it and now you're complaining. You had
3 weeks to get the jersey situation straight,
deal with the techs or buy some numbers for the
front of your jersey.
It's not a stupid rule. If you want to maintain
the professionalism in the league, you have to
look professional. You don't see nurses wearing
pajamas to work (although some people like
wearing scrubs as pajamas). You don't see police
officers asking the CHP to borrow their unis and
wearing it to work. A rule is a rule, follow it.
NO GAMES ON SUNDAY
Just a reminder, NO GAMES ON VALENTINE'S
WEEKEND. It's President's Day Weekend and
All Star Weekend as well. I can't imagine how
many schedule requests we'd get if we were to
have games this weekend.
LEAGUE FEES
Most teams have played their 3 games. If you're
not caught up on league fees, you're not getting
scheduled.
MIDAS
Thank You to all Gold Division teams who lend a
helping hand on Sunday. That Playoff trailer is
looking good. Just a few minor tweaks and it
should be uploaded by Friday afternoon.

LOW ON STAFFING
Because I have several stats-keepers not
available to work past 7 p.m. this weekend, only
2 games will be played at ASC at 7 p.m. Three
games will play at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Because of these changes, I made ONE FINAL
SCHEDULE CHANGE.
EVERY FRIDAY
Every Friday, I send out an e-mail to ALL
General Managers. This e-mail list is a reminder
of what's going on this week and all that good
stuff. If you would like to be on that list and
you are not a GM, please e-mail me so I can
include you in our GM Mailing List. It is
information, it's not SPAM, I promise. =)

The new episode focuses on the new faces, the
top two teams in Gold and the pending trades
that loom on Week 4. I hope you enjoy the new
picture in picture, I'm not sure how it will
turn out on YOUTUBE but it looks great on my
laptop.
SORTABLE STATS
Bank's 3rd game wasn't added. That will be added
next week. The team stats are right.
I HATE BOSTON
Good job Lakers! These floppers like Paul Pierce
need to play basketball and stop complaining to
the refs. Watching NBA and seeing how ridiculous
players look when they argue calls, I hope
players in our league realize that's how stupid
they look. When all you do is complain and
complain and complain... well... it makes you
look foolish. Cough Ray Allen.

I just spoke with the gym director and
unfortunately, games on Saturday are cancelled
due to rain.
SCHEDULE
Because of the rain postponing our games, I am
re-doing the schedule. It will be updated by
late afternoon.

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY GAMES
All games played last Sunday are going to the
Week 3 archive.
Player of the Week honors will include this past
Sunday's players... that's why it took long to
update.

I'm working on finalizing some rules but it
should be linked to our pages once I'm done.
SCHEDULE REQUESTS
A lot of teams ask for morning games but right
now, the lack of gym time is preventing us from
scheduling early games. There is a fix... we get
Walnut Rec in two, three weeks. The order my
staff does the schedule is in the following
order.
1. STAFF - make sure we have enough stats
coverage for All games.
2. PAYMENT - Which teams were given
priority due to them paying first.
3. THE REST
If there are special tapings for SSTV I am
scheduling those games early or when I'm not
playing. I WILL BE TAPING most Gold Division
games this week.
JUST A REMINDER
If your team has played 3 games, NO MORE ADDS.
You don't want an automatic loss and you better
not be trying to add no RINGERS. We have
reversed games in the past so don't cheat!!
