STOLEN PHONE
When people are stealing phones, that means the
economy must be bad. When people are stealing
phones at Walnut, that means it's really bad.
When people are stealing phones, at Walnut Rec,
going out of their to take it out of someone's
bag, that just means you're a douche.
Seriously, how shady can you get? For the
record, it's not my phone but I know how it
feels to get things stolen. Back in the day when
WE WOULD PROVIDE TF-1000 basketballs to play
with, people were stealing our basketballs. What
other league provides quality basketballs to
play with?
10 basketballs got stolen and after that, I
stopped bringing it. It sucks to play with some
flat basketball or some cheap Nike basketball
but hey, that's what happens when people get
shady.
All I'm saying is Karma is a bitch. If you don't
believe it, wait until karma gets you 10 times
worse. Please return the phone, no questions
asked, to Walnut Rec, front office.
THESE PLAYOFFS
I've seen some pretty good games this weekend.
I've also seen two teams forfeit...for a Playoff
Game?
Ref Fees MUST BE PAID regardless if it's a
forfeit. This is the Playoffs. The money, the
ref fees go to dumbass referees. Yes, I said
dumbass referees because WE HAVE TO PAY THEM
even if it's a forfeit. Trust me, I've tried to
negotiate to no avail.
With the exception of 2 games getting
forfeits... these games have been fun to watch.
From upsets, to buzzer beaters, from huge come
backs to lop-sided games, these Playoffs have
been an exceptional.

GLITCH IN THE
SYSTEM
I re-did some of the sortable stats. I
discovered the following:
PLATINUM
- Screwed Up vs. Pay Homage wasn't included
initially. Both teams stats now included all 8
games, previously they only had 7.
- SICKWIDIT's 8th game was also updated.
GOLD
- Dedrick Bates finished 4th, not 1st in
3-pointers made
- A stats-keeper error had Chris Capinia with 0
three's against Arsenal. He should have had 4
three's (he says 5, but that's a different
story, JK)
WRITE-UPS
- Raul Servin didn't finish with the most
assists (Top 5 Recap)

ALL GMs got the e-mail.
If your team doesn't have the full balance, it
will be a forfeit.
Everyone uses the favorite excuse just so they
can duck fees.

Sorry fellas, if the gyms are going to be strict
on me, I have to be
strict on you guys. Nothing personal...
There's already been 2 forfeits in Diamond next
season. If everyone wants Diamond Division next
season, teams need to step up!!
Remember, this is your league. Don't take it for
granted.

NEW TREASURER

NO WORKMAN HIGH SCHOOL...AGAIN!!
We're finding a different gym, but just to let
you guys know...
we do not have Workman High School.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
I used to do it a lot...you know update the
schedule every hour, every day.
We can't really update it if we're still waiting
on gym availability.
Thanks for being patient.
NEW TREASURER
One of the hardest things about being Commish is
collecting money. It slows down the process and
I want to stick to what I'm good at: web,
photos, videos...
I can't really do that if I'm having to contact
teams about their payment so next season we have
a new role, Treasure.
Victor Ng, former GM of Silent But
Deadly, has a good history of paying first and
he's shown he's responsible. Next season, he'll
be the one collecting fees, e-mailing teams with
receipts, and doing the whole finance thing.
SALE PRICE
We basically offered $550 for this week so that
it gets teams to pay ahead of time. Next week,
the price will jump to normal price. We'll have
a sale here and there but for now, the $550
price will only last until Friday.
