The big
question isn't "Will the team stay
undefeated?" The bigger question is "Who
is the true MVP: Kendra or Amanda
Aoun?"
A
monumental comeback for the Loop showed
they have heart and their defense can
win games. Will they show that much
defensive tenacity against the Aces?
They led
for the most part of the game against
the Loop only to lose the lead in the
closing seconds. They play against the
Reign on the last week and will play
them again the in the Playoffs.
They
finished #2 last Summer and #3 last
season. There's a lot of depth with this
#1 Gunnaz squad but it will be a waste
if they don't make their first Finals
appearance this season.
They lost
to the Stunners but you could hardly
tell they lost. The real deal is in the
Playoffs and at this point of the
season, they just want to get the
post-season started already.
Jovan
Jester is having an MVP like season
and his stats could have been affected
by Black Out's attempt to bring a ringer
in. With Mark Moton recovering
from injury, expect Deacons to be a
surprise team in the Playoffs.
Did you
actually think the Camarenas were
going away that easy? They've been the
underdogs since their days at Bassett
and now they're recent surge shows they
are worthy of a spot in the Playoffs.
From down
and out to winning 4 straight, the
Riverside team is showing they're for
real. A week 3 loss against Playmakers
have Run N Gun below Playmakers should
the team finish with the same records.
GM
Shadon Knight has been a beast but
his teammate Von Tabb has been
that much better. 'Old School' went for
33 against Playmakers with the team
playing just 4-on-5.
They need
to win 1 more game to make it to the
Playoffs but their lack of experience in
Superstar might hurt them in the 1st
round. Taylor Begg has been one
of the leading candidates for Rookie of
the Season but their lack of wins might
hurt his chances of winning the ROS
award.
After a
promising 3-0 start, the team has lost 4
straight games and are in danger of
making the Playoffs. Their best scenario
is for Black Out and Posse to lose and
they win a must-win game this coming
week.
The top 4
teams in Platinum play against teams
that are 3-4 and are trying to make the
Playoffs. Last season's finalist (USUCK)
has the chance to stop Relics undefeated
season.
Dead End
defeated Still Fly on Week 6 giving them
the tie breaker over Money Inc. The
addition of rookie John Chen (10
three's) has provided the team with a
consistent scorer from the perimeter.
Kabibbles
defeated Still Fly in Week 2 giving them
the tie-breaker over all 3-4 teams. With
all the other 3-4 teams trying to make
the Playoffs, Kabibbles need to make
sure they win on Week 8.
3 way tie
between TROY, Class Clowns and USUCK.
Their win over Kabibbles gives them the
8 spot...for now. A win over Relics will
give them a tie-breaker over the other
3-4 teams.
If all 3-4
teams win, TROY will advance to the
Playoffs because of a tie-breaker
they'll earn in beating Full Clip. It's
a re-match of their Week 3 match-up and
TROY needs to make adjustments if they
want to make the Playoffs.
They'll out
run the Still Fly guards but can they
stop the twin towers Evan Namkung and
Rene Medina? They have lost 3 straight
and stopping Still Fly is no laughing
matter.
There's a 5
way tie between the 5-2 teams but for
now SBD holds the top slot. Can you
imagine how good they'd be in Platinum,
instead here they are beating up on
competition in Gold. 626'ers Part II or
what?
Admittedly,
they feel they registered in the wrong
division. If they win the Championship
this season, it will be a formality that
they belong in the higher division,
Platinum.
Their
guard-center combo of Moy and
Lalo remind us of the Lakers in the
early 2000 but Lalo is playing more like
Big Cactus 2008. Is he saving his best
for the Playoffs?
