If the
score was that bad against the Loop, can
you imagine how it might be against
Deuces Wild? Kendra Carraway and
Amanda Aoun are both averaging
20+ points for the season.
Welcome
back from Hawaii ladies. While you were
away, Big Kahuna Anthony Palacol
took care of the team but it was obvious
he wanted to be in Hawaii. Board shorts
are okay, but in the winter??
They're
quietly making roster moves and it's
only a matter of time until we see the
team at full strength. A match-up
against The Loop will show how far the
team has improved.
Did the
current Player of the Week (Dahrlene
Somera) take a page out of Rocky
Anciano's book? "Welcome to the
league, ladies. My name is Dahrlene,
I'll be your GM, and now going to beat
your team and drop 14 on you."
They are
the early favorite to take it all the
way but then again, its been that same
story for the past two season. Great
team in the regular season, not so good
team in the post season.
They are an
elite team once again, thanks to the
improvement of Christian Yeung
who is averaging 18.3 ppg. They'll have
a tough match-up against a surging Black
Out.
Surprisingly, they lost last week
against PLP but that was without
Terrance Martin (3.5 apg) in the
lineup. Is it too early to talk MVP for
the Fresh Prince.
They
provide a solid 1-2 punch without former
MVP Keith Allen but how much of
that is a good thing? Could Black Out
actually be better... without Keith?
Dun-dun-dun.
It was a
tough opener against Black Out and they
played tentative in their first game.
They'll make adjustments but they'll
have to do it fast especially with a
double-header this weekend.
Finals MVP
Derek DeVan isn't worried at all
and his Ipod has him geared up for the
next five games. "Don't call it a
comeback, I've been here for years."
With so
much hype surrounding the team, it's a
surprise they're a cellar-dweller three
games into the season. A Deacons and
Flip Mob match-up will be a tough
weekend for Run N Gun
They are
downplaying their early success and
rightfully so. They've seen too many
good seasons with no Championships and
they're not about to jinx that now.
Dear GM
Rocky Anciano,
Hey you San Francisco-rice-a-roni-treat,
how's your cold doing? Was it "hella"
cold when you went up North last week? I
bet it wasn't as cold as how you were
feeling when you found out your team won
without you.
After a
Finals appearance, the team is
struggling to stay motivated after a 0-2
start. In their defense, they played
without All Stars Derek DeVan and
Harry Yoo so look for the team to
be on the rise.
We knew it
was going to happen sooner or later. The
reason they moved up was because of
former All Star Christian Gopez.
Without him in the lineup against Class
Clowns, the score was nothing to laugh
at.
After
beating top ranked team Underdawgs, TST
made the jump to the top spot without GM
Lalo Arroyo. If only he could
jump this high, maybe TST would be
playing in Platinum.
