The Loop and Then Some
Their
passing improved, their shooting finally
improved and somehow their defense got
better. They're off to a great start
this season.
The opening
weekend was highlighted with a
Riverside-Fontana matchup that saw Y.G.
get the better off Riverside Run N Gun.
Y.G.
acquired several shooters and the
rookies (Marcus Smith) are living
up to the name Young Gunnaz.
It took a
double OT game to preserve their winning
steak but the reigning Platinum Division
Champs got it done against Playmakers.
The rest of the season is questionable
but one thing is certain, Kenneth
Ubom is a beast. (45 points)
The rookies
don't look intimidating but don't take
them lightly. They are well coached,
they have experience and the defending
Champs Foundation found out the hard
way.
Playmakers
vs. Stunners is basically Stunners vs.
Xplosion. The head-to-head matchup
is even at 1 win apiece but the last
time these two teams played, Xplosion
won 63-62.

make their debut against Young Gunnaz.
It should be a tough start but we'll see
if the rookies are up to the task.

There is
never an exhibition game for Superstar
but the defending Champs used their
season-opener as a try out for the
Championship team. Warning to Matt
Lewis and Co from an opposing GM:
"They're not a real Championship team,
those two chips were a fluke. They don't
have the Commish anymore...so
you'll see them lose"
It was an
ugly loss to Deacons but what was uglier
was their jerseys. "I didn't know
Sharpies sponsored a team in the League.
At least wear a jersey instead of a
white t-shirt, please."
It was a
tough opener for Xplosion
but one thing they should work on is NOT
playing to the level of their
competition. They know they are better
than Association but somehow allowed
them to stay in the game.
Will the
league please send Keaire Mims an
invitation to the All Star Slam Dunk
Contest? They might have an "L" next to
their name but losing by 1 point to an
experience Y.G. team is nothing to worry
about.
Their
rookie Center should be a tough match-up
for opponents and their guards are fast
enough to compete in the division. A
beefy Still Fly team might expose their
lack of bodies in the paint.
Derek
DeVan liked his Foundation pickup so
much, he wants to play against him. "Uzoma,
you may have dunked on two people but
U-still-suck." Remix will play USUCK
very soon but Class Clowns have next.

They didn't
let the new rule discourage them and
they're moving up to the new division

Remix
The
toughest part of the schedule is about
to begin but they don't have
sharp-shooter Chris Mosley who is
vacationing in Costa Rica. Adios!
It's still
an All-Evan team and expect GM Jon
Paras to strive for Championship
this season. They don't have 626'ers
until Rivalry Week so they'll get the
next best thing, their friends from
Silent But Deadly.
They put an
end to 626'ers winning streak and our
stats person pulled up this amazing
stat: 626'ers winning streak - 13 games,
Rocky Anciano playing time - 1
minute 3 seconds.
You could
say all you want about the bench players
from Money Inc. just don't say it's just
Bear-Kenneth-Super J. Playing with just
5 players, they blew out Assassins.
