 Schedule Requests

7.25.08

  LAST MINUTE
At the GM Meeting, I vented about how teams are requesting for last minute
  schedule requests.

After a speedy update on the recaps, I was slowed down by
A LOT OF
  SCHEDULE REQUESTS!!

If you need a specific time, please request those times on Monday.
The latest to e-mail those schedule requests is
Tuesday morning.
PLEASE DO NOT TEXT OR CALL ME FOR SCHEDULE REQUESTS.

MY PHONE BILL IS $300 a month!! I WILL CHANGE MY NUMBER NEXT MONTH!!

E-MAIL ME and I will do my best to accommodate for your team.
There's a lot of factors that come into play when we move the schedule around.
I move the times every night. For teams that can play any time of the day, thank
you for being flexible on Sundays. For teams that always want specific times
and cry about their times... (no comment)

  SCHEDULING PRIORITY
If your team is fully paid, you get your gym, you get your game time. The list
of teams who have top priority is listed below.
  - Brotherhood
  - Assassins
  - So Cal Ballers
  - Money Inc
  - Evil Empire
  - Game Bang
  - Da Guh
  - BOB
  - Highlanders
  - Shooters / Smokin Aces

  LA>SD
If you're free on Saturdays and want a piece of the action in SD, let me know
since we have our team ready to take over San Diego. I'm not the Commish down
there so winning a Championship in San Diego in their first season would be
nice. LA>SD... we're taking SD to school.

  THANK YOU.

7.22.08
Opening Day was great. There was only 1 forfeit (Team Kabibbles) and 2 teams
showed up real late (Screwed Up Click and That Same Team).

We do take Exit Interviews seriously. Those surveys are done at the end of
the season. Here's what I reviewed last season and what I'm trying to improve.

  1. Games need to start on time.
  2. Updates need to be done sooner.
  3. Assists are counted diligently.

  SOLUTION
  1. The latest we'll start the first game is 9:15 a.m. The clock runs at 9:15, PERIOD.
Usually it's the first game that throws us off, and that's my fault. I can't be the
Commish and showing up at exactly 9 o'clock. I started coming in sooner but
everyone got used to the late schedule.

  2. You know how it is... if one person starts an altercation, if anyone gets
  suspended,
we do everything 1 day later. That's just punishment. If everyone
is well behaved, everything is updated on time. I update the website... for me to
think of suspensions too... c'mon man. Last season was a mess in terms of
people acting up. Everyone paid for it by having updates a day later and we got
everyone complaining on things being late. I'll sum it up in 1 sentence.
  "Help us, Help YOU."

  3. Yah, I get robbed of assists too. I should average a lot more, but I'm not being
credited for it. I don't care, but a lot of stat hogs do... so here's what Imma do.

  ALL STATS PEOPLE - MEETING
We have a meeting on Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
  LOCATION: LA Fitness, Diamond Bar.
I'll probably rack up on guest passes or what not. We'll go over assists, rules, and
things that should be done properly at the stats table. If you don't show up,
you're not doing stats this season. PERIOD.  If you don't know about it, then
that means you're not reading the site and you don't care.

  ROOKIES
Season barely started and I'm getting a lot of good feedback on the rookies
already. A lot are well behaved, they play hard, and are competing even with
large deficits. A lot of rookie GMs are new to some of the rules so here's a
run-down of some of the rules.

  THANK YOU.

All concerns regarding officiating needs to be addressed

Do not ask him why you get called for fouls

  he ate Shaq and Kobe.
