|
PREVIEW:
Mindstate will play two games in Rivalry Weekend and
they could easily go undefeated against Swish and Bank.
Swish is struggling at 1-3 and leading scorer, Eliseo
Cabildo, (18 ppg) needs to have a big weekend if
Swish wants to keep the game competitive.

PREVIEW:
Team Dime is 2-0 in the series and
top
ranked, Outkast Connection, will try to earn their first
win against the team they introduced to Superstar
Basketball. Both squads play team ball and you can bet
that the winning team will earn a lot of bragging
rights. It takes a team to win, are you in?

|
PREVIEW:
The majority of the critics didn't think that Global
Gym would win in the Playoffs when Martin
Camarena was unavailable for the post-season last
season. Team Captain Lalo Arroyo and company
weren't listening to the critics and in Martin's
absence, Mike Villa stepped up and was named the Finals
MVP. A season later and the 4-2 Xplosion are
almost a lock for a Playoff spot while the 3-3 Global
Gym have yet to clinch. Will the Defending Champs be
unavailable for post-season play... because of former
players, Martin and Adrian Camarena? Will
Xplosion sleep on PJ Marte, Platinum's Defending
Player of the Week.

PREVIEW:
They are rivals for obvious reasons. Relics Team
Captain Ernest Pablo felt it was his best
interest to start a new team with former Phenoms guards,
Rommel and Romeo Ocfemia. The trio formed
Relics and they are "flying under the radar" and have
already clinched a playoff spot. Meanwhile, Phenoms is looking at a season without
the Playoffs and the Team Captain Alvin Aguilar
has already already expressed regret. On his birthday
weekend, will childhood friend, Ernest, give him a win
for his birthday or will he make Alvin eat his words
with his birthday cake? Preview | Game Stats | Recap |

|
PREVIEW:
Swish will play their
second game of a double-header against Mike
Teeravatya's Foundation. Swish has repeatedly made
offers to bring Mike Tee to the team and last season,
that proposal was obviously declined. With Foundation
already out of the Playoffs, will the guys from Swish
extend another offer to Mike? Mike can't feel too bad
for his team, they won two in a row in Week 5 and if
they can build on team chemistry, they could become a
legitimate threat. Their upset over Xplosion
proved how dangerous they can be. Preview | Game Stats | Recap |

|
PREVIEW:
The
two best teams from the Western Conference will play in
the final week of Conference play as the Gold Division
prepare for Inter-Conference play in the last week.
Aztecs Brian Valladares recently broke the
rebounding record grabbing 26 boards while Angkor Wat's
Khorn Leng scored 45 points for a scoring record.
Both competitors will be more than willing to prove that
their record is more worthy than the other.

| 3 p.m. Dead End vs. Deacons | B-LO-DA-RIM vs. BBC | 7 p.m. Elements vs. Abstract WALNUT GYM | ||
|
PREVIEW:
The Eastern Conference Dead End and the Western
Conference Deacons are both ranked 3rd in their
respective Conferences. Dead End played short-handed
last week and suffered a loss while Deacons managed to
rout Swish in a one-sided game. Both teams in the middle
of the pack and at this point, it's all about playoff
positioning.

PREVIEW:
The Conference rivals are battling for the last
playoff spot in the lowly Western Conference. Unlike
last season when Elements lost a playoff spot in Week 8,
they can make things easier by clinching a playoff spot
this weekend. The Civil War that is Abstract should make
things a lot easier for Elements.

| 4 p.m. Bank vs. Mindstate | Dead End vs #1 Stunners | 8 p.m. B-LO-DA-RIM vs. BBC WALNUT GYM | ||
|
PREVIEW:
Mindstate's Lou Casas has already proven that
he can elevate his game when Team Captain Jay-R
DeRamos is out of the line-up. Can he do it again
this weekend? Mindstate's Derrick DeVan might
struggle against potential All Star, Bank's Giyoh
Shey. Giyoh has given teams like Global Gym and Game
Breakers problems in the past. Could he lead Bank to an
unlikely upset over the undefeated Mindstate? Could the
two develop a newfound rivalry. We sure do hope so. Preview | Game Stats | Recap |

|
PREVIEW:
Both teams run scrimmages at Gingriech Park and both
squads have a different outcome of the games. While
B-LO-DA-RIM's Team Captain Lawrence Pelagio
chooses to let his game do the talking, the team
spokesperson, JC Rivera, has been going at it
with BBC's Team Captain, Andrew Persaud.

| 5 p.m. Flight One vs. #1 Stunners |
|
9 p.m. Thrillers vs. Deep Penetration WALNUT GYM | ||
|
PREVIEW:
The
injury bug has Flight One on the edge while the
#1Stunners have been fortunate not to experience any
injuries so far this season. Flight One's Jeff
Bencito is in a tough situation having to face his
traveling team and his friends, #1 Stunners. Can Jeff be
the (Flight) One to give the Stunners a #1 in the L
column? Is there a lot of pressure on Jeff? Will he make
his free-throws if it came down to it?
|
B-LO-DA-RIM Center, JC Rivera:
"Drew is the only man on earth that can
buy a car cash drive for a couple months and say sh*t im
bored next one" |
PREVIEW:
Thrillers Team Captain
Justin Reyes had big plans for his young team last
season specially with young Kris Carrillo on
board. Kris didn't see eye to eye with his Captain's
plans and felt it best to win with his own team. He
gathered his friends and started Deep Penetration (LOL)
and after winning two in a row early in the season, they
have recently struggled and are now 2-4.
|
||
| 6 p.m. Dead End vs. #1 Stunners | ||||
|
PREVIEW:
The
3-2 Dead End will play
their second game of a double-header against the
undefeated Stunners. They have a legitimate chance at
beating Stunners and the untested Stunners will have to
play back-to-back games. Most teams would crumble in
this situation but with the Stunners play as of late,
this back-to-back just might be preparing them for the
Playoffs. The battle of the PGs will be the x-factor in
the outcome of the game.

PREVIEW:
Freestyle has yet to play
an evening game and the 3rd ranked team might have met
their match in DSK. Richard Hak scored 41 points
in a loss last week. Can the three-point specialist
deliver a win with his high scoring or will his points
once again go to waste?

| 8 p.m. Dynasty vs. Game Breakers | ||||
|
PREVIEW:
Will Dynasty finally win a game this season against
the Co-Commish led, Game Breakers. Tommy
Avalos has had the same problems that Dynasty's Team
Captain Josh Rotscheck has had all season long.
"When you start losing, players don't show up. It's
tough in the Platinum Division, we need to move players
up." Help is on the way, next season.

QUICK RULES |
|||
|
PREVIEW:
Dynasty will play a back-to-back game against another
team low on personnel, DSK. DSK has prevailed in
situations like this and even gave Foundation a slight
scare when the two teams met in Week 5. The battle of
cellar-dwellers in Rivalry Week should be competitive.
No one wants to be known as the last placed team.
