Mindstate There's some good news and some bad news. Good news: Mindstate's Derrick DeVan led the team to an undefeated season giving him a slight advantage in the MVP polls. The announcements are due on Thursday and for the bad news... the only other team to go undefeated in the Regular Season was Game Breakers in Summer 2006. They lost to Foundation, 53-48. |

#1 Stunners Number 2 Stunners is more like it, says Mindstate. They meet Xplosion in the 1st Round and the winner gets either Deacons or Global Gym in the 2nd Round. They were impressive in the Regular Season and whether they build on it in the post-season will be a storyline to follow. |

Deacons The gentle giant, Mark Moton, will dwarf another gentle giant, Lalo Arroyo, in the opening round of the Playoffs. Deacons know a thing or two about Championships and their drive from Hollywood won't stop in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. As intimidating as they are, The Championship goes through Global Gym and the Defending Champs are riding a 4 game winning streak. |

Dead End They played with half of their roster for several games and the boys from Dead End have yet to show up with their full deck of cards. We've heard of their other Championships in other leagues but in the Playoffs, they're all IN to WIN. The journey begins with Freestyle and then it's a match-up against Mindstate/Flight One. |

Freestyle Steven Watts and Andre Flores have gained a ton amount of respect in the League in their rookie season. They have a tough match up in Dead End but then again, no one ever expected Freestyle to be one of the elite teams in Superstar. The most underrated team are looking forward to silencing the critics in the post-season. |

Global Gym Never underestimate the heart of the Champion. Early in the season, the Defending Champions looked like they were out of the Playoffs and they quickly turned things around with PJ Marte providing the fireworks. Their match-up with Hollywood's Deacons will be a 'BIG' match-up for former MVP, Lalo Arroyo and Defending Finals MVP, Mike Villa. |

Xplosion They can thank their boys, Global Gym, for helping their chances at qualifying for the Playoffs. Xplosion was the #1 team in the early season until #1 Stunners knocked them out and their confidence has never been the same. Xplosion will get some revenge in the 1st Round of the Playoffs but their road to the Finals is tough. Stunners in the 1st Round then Deacons or Global Gym in the 2nd Round. |

Flight One They will represent the LEastern Conference and is the only team in the Playoffs with a losing record. Mindstate had their number in the Regular Season but if you want to go back in history, Outkast Connection (several Flight One players) defeated Team Dime (several Mindstate players) in the 1st Round of the Playoffs last season after being dominated in the Regular Season. |

Bank Perhaps playing in the Game of the Season, Giyoh Shey and Paul Infantante played in a game of H-O-R-S-E and their combined five 3 pointers in the 4th quarter had La Puente's Bassett fans at the edge of their seats. A lot of players didn't expect Bank to be in this position and they were a normal Gold Division team at best early in the season. "Sometimes you win when you lose." |

DSK Their 3 point barrage almost took down Flight One and DSK was within striking distance. With a season experience and with familiarity on the competition, don't be surprised if DSK is in the Playoffs next season. Richard "The Hak" and Harry Yoo both had big seasons in their rookie season. |

Game Breakers The future of the franchise is in question and Co-Commish is tired. He's looking to just have fun in Gold Division but the pride in his players won't allow the franchise to register in a "recreation" division. This off-season should be interesting for the Breakers. |

Swish Got beat on a set of a double-header but let's get one thing straight. They lost with integrity. They lost with their heads up high, not hiding under a hole like some kind of ostrich and that's enough to gain respect around the League. Quote me on this, "We didn't quit," said Team Captain Jeff Lee. Their beat-down may have given us a prelude of their future, Jon Lee as an offensive weapon. |

Foundation QUITTERS. Foundation is back under its original owner (Hanz Jimenez) and the only difference is, the GM won't be playing for his team. "I just want to sit back and tell my guys what to do, build around Mike Tee, run-and-gun, and lead Foundation back to the top where they started." says the original GM. |

Dynastyquit QUITTERS. For those who said there is no quit in Dynasty, there is now. Ownership is up for grabs so if you're interested in owning Dynasty... hollah! (It only took 1 day but Mindstate's Jay-R DeRamos has already expressed interest in running the franchise.) |

Angkor Wat Their Team Captain has been gettin' a lot of slack for not having the team registered in the Platinum Division. Gold Division looks too easy for them but don't worry about having to register in Platinum. If you win in Gold, you're automatically in Platinum the next season. The warm-ups were fun. The REAL SEASON begins. "YOU GOTTA WANT IT." |

Aztecs Don Clark. The name sounds so Hollywood. Director. Editor. Friend. We love the fact that he has his team staying extra hours to support other teams while he video records their games. Is he creating a breath-taking highlight reel? Making a nice montage? Or...heyyyy... wait a minute. Is he scouting other teams and watching game tapes during the week? DOH! |

Outkast Connection Gotta give credit to the short-handed team. After trailing the game with a big deficit, they almost defeated Angkor Wat in a thrilling end to the regular season. Their win over Aztecs in Week 5 will give them a higher ranking in the Playoffs, ahead of Relics and Team Dime. Outkast being one of the ORIGINAL 6 TEAMS in SUPERSTAR, they know that the REAL season starts in the post-season and their experience will be a big advantage over any team. |

Relics Outkast, Team Dime, and Relics are all tied with a 5-3 record. The team that defeated the highest ranking team was Outkast Connection so they were ranked 3rd. Between Relics and Team Dime, Relics defeated Team Dime, so they have the 4th seed. Either way it doesn't matter. Relics vs. Team Dime, 1st Round of the Playoffs. To mimick one of the Knox Brothers, he'd like nothing more than to layeth the smacketh downeth, on Team Dime, for the second time, if you smellll what the Knox is cooking. |

Team Dime
Team Dime vs. Relics in the first round is a rematch of Week 8. Both teams should be well prepared for this match-up but the 2nd Round is where it really gets interesting. No offense to B-LO-DA-RIM but... Angkor What??? The 2nd Round is what we're already looking forward to in the Gold Division. |

Elements Dear Angkor Wat, In Week 2, our team defeated your team with our PBA players and because you ended the season at #1, it will give us a higher ranking over teams that are tied with us. We have finally made it to the Playoffs and we hope to see you there. By the way, we'd love to make another highlight video with you boys. Love, Elements. |

Deep Penetration The three-way between Deep Penetration, B-LO-DA-RIM and BBC is complicated but the Commish can explain. Deep Penetration has the tie-breaker because they defeated Outkast Connection in Week 3 which gives them an advantage over B-LO-DA-RIM and BBC. Aztecs never played Deep Penetration in the Regular Season so both teams will be reading the website heavily to scout on each other. |

B-LO-DA-RIM The last spot in the Eastern Conference had to go to B-LO-DA-RIM. Between both teams, the tie breaker goes to the team that won in their match-up and B-LO-DA-RIM gets the nod over BBC after their convincing win in Week 7. Congratulations and welcome to the Playoffs, B-LO-DA-RIM. You now get the 8th seed and Angkor Wat would like to welcome you to the 1st Round. |

Billionaire Ball Club Their fall in Week 7 to B-LO-DA-RIM will haunt them in the off season. Well not really cuz BBC is tired of playing nice. Forget G Rated, it's Rated R Superstars and the beast will be unleashed by one, Andrew Persaud. |

Thrillers As confidential as the staff is, an insider speaking out of anonymity revealed on Monday that Thrillers' Justin Reyes was nominated for Franchise Owner of the Season... NOT! (Borat's voice) Give credit to where it's due, they ended the season with a positive note and 3 teams from last season (Thrillers, Outkast, BBC) had more wins this season than last season. Something Justin's GM career is about to take Flight and he'll ring in the Spring Season with some new players. |

Abstract Season ended with B-LO-DA-RIM giving them mad love and support on the sidelines. The players will most likely be on separate teams next season and you have to feel for Jonash Salvador and Francis Pascual. Two Superstar veterans with 3 and 2 seasons under their belt, respectively, and they can't lead a team to a win. All they want is to play ball. That's it. Play Ball. Will any aspring GM's pick them up next season? |

Phenoms They baptized their Lakers retro inspired jerseys with a losing season and the team failed to make the Playoffs. They miss their trinity (Ernest Pablo, Rommel and RJ Ocfemia) and they're praying that a winning season this Spring will help them erase the memory of this season. Out of 8 teams thar participated in the Playoffs last season, they are 1 of 5 teams that won't be in the playoffs this season. (Game Breakers, Dynasty, Foundation, Swish) |
