Where's the box score?

Where's the game logs?

You know what happens when the league suspend players right?

That's right, we hold out for a day on everyone's game logs, and everyone's box scores.

While there was no actual fight, we're doing what's necessary to make sure we uphold our code of conduct.

Zero TOLERANCE for fighting. Players page is now updated with the following suspensions.

WHILE YOU WERE GONE

SEPTEMBER 3, 2007

If you think this weekend was hot, Rivalry Week should be even hotter. I can't wait to see some of the games specially Champion vs. Champion with two-time MVP Mark Moton finally facing off against last season's Gold Division Finals MVP, Mike Mason. Make no mistake about it, I'm a fan of every team, unless of course your team quit like Cali's Finest and Lingustic Legend's'.

Next season should be just as good as this one. We're going to implement new features once again and hopefully everyone enjoys it. We will move the podcast from the main page to the "current week's" page at the very bottom so everyone can enjoy the podcast while browsing through the articles, stats, and galleries. Unfortunately, teams will only show up on an "Interest List". Once teams make a full payment or at least make a down payment, then that's when the team shows up as a registered team.

I've always been straight up about the League and I've trusted teams in making a full payment even at the last day of the season. Those days are long gone specially with two teams not paying this season, not to mention two other teams that played two games last season without paying (Dynasty and Mindstate).

Rosters are starting to show up and I'm doing at least 5 teams a day. Once we have more people involved, I'll crank them out sooner but for now, thanks for being patient.

There will be a lot of double-headers played out for the Diamond Division this weekend. We are waiting on another gym and once we have that then we'll have the schedule finalized for you.

Lastly, I'd like to say WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!! SIX weeks without any sort of altercation and I want to thank EVERYONE for maintaining the integrity of the League. There is a high level of sportsmanship here and that's really what it comes down to.

WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS

AUGUST 28, 2007

This has got to be the worst weekend of my tenure. A lot of unfortunate things happened over the weekend some within my control, others just beyond reach. It's a learning experience, and that's the best I can hope for, learning from my own mistakes.

One of the unfortunate things that happened was Cali's Finest and Lingustic Legend's' dropping out of the League. The full article can be seen here.

TEAMS DROPPING OUT

Things that I did learn
1. Never park just anywhere, specially outside of American Sports Center. They will tow you, trust me.
2. Maybe I should get a phone number for gym directors so I can give them a wake-up call (no names mentioned) to open the gym.
3. Meetings should have minutes published on the website so that people are aware of their responsibilities (again, no names mentioned).
4. When disagreements happen between me and a staff member, we'll take it outside in the parking lot.
5. NEVER trust a team on making a full payment for their registration fee, specially if it's the same team that doesn't pay ref fees before the game.
6. Have back-up stats-keepers just in case one of them (again, no names mentioned) decides to leave for a spontaneous trip to Vegas.

On the bright side:
1. Congratulations to Tommy Avalos for finally giving birth to a baby girl this past weekend. "I'm sure that beer belly is sore from all that pushing."
2. Congratulations to Brian Gipson, new Radio Personality for Superstar Radio. All you have to do is give him the digital recorder and he interviews players on a very professional level.

Lastly, I'd like to apologize for my misconduct after the Hippos and Phenoms game. There were fans at the stands and my profanities towards a staff member was uncalled for. Next time I have a disagreement with anyone regardless who's at fault, I'll take the conversation outside.

Thanks and have a safe Labor Day Weekend.
