STATS-KEEPERS

AUGUST 14, 2007

There will be a mandatory meeting for ALL stats-keepers on Saturday, August 18. Everyone must be there at 2 p.m. and if you're unable to attend please contact me via e-mail.
Location: L&L, Walnut

We need to maintain our quality and this is a refresher course on what the procedures are at the stats table. If you're working the stats table just to make the money, then don't be there. If you're really interested and you're passionate about basketball, the league, and our players, then we'll see you there.

All Stats-keepers will only work the games they're scheduled for. Schedule is finalized on Friday evening.

CODE OF CONDUCT

AUGUST 14, 2007

Our Superstar Basketball League staff (referees, stats people, league analysts) have nothing but the utmost respect for the players and the fans that attend the games. If you feel that any of my staff is disrespecting any player, please let me know.

At the same time, players do not have the right to curse at the staff and I will hand out suspensions I deem necessary. The staff does its best to make sure games are fair and players must behave accordingly. There are families in the stand and I expect you to respect not only your team but yourself in a manner that is presentable. If you're going to act like a jackass, go play in the playground because you obviously do not belong here.

General Managers must be able to control their players, fans, and family members during heated moments of the games. Nothing extreme has happened yet but I am aware the second half of the season is on the horizon and there are teams desperate at trying to make the Playoffs.
