The summer break was a long one and it was a long deserved break for a lot of the teams and players. We've managed to grow from 6 teams to 42 teams and it hasn't even been a full calendar year yet. While the growth is good news for competition, quality is most important to me and I will do my best in Year 2 to exceed the bar that we set the previous year.

The awards show on July 19th will be the first of its kind, especially for a recreation basketball league. Banquet? Basketball League? Who does that? I just hope everyone comes out for the show and the year awards are big trophies, almost as tall as me.

Please don't forget to bring your Photo ID this Sunday. We will be taking roster pictures. If your team has not made a payment, then please make payment arrangements.
