RECORD

STREAK

1 1 WEST Deacons
Two-time defending Champs are looking smooth with their new warm-ups and the only thing smoother is their game off the court as they parlay in the Hollywood nightlife on Saturday nights. Tinseltown is going for 3 straight but Foundation 2.0 respects the Champs and wants to see where they stand against the Champions.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

2 3 WEST Zero Balance
They trailed the Stunners for the most part of the game and showed they have the heart of a Champion. They took over in the last minutes of the 4th quarter and Mike Mason is proving how much of a defensive force he really is, especially in the Diamond Division. PLP dominated the Regular Season in Spring, let's see how they fare up against them.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

3 6 WEST Foundation 2.0
Someone please tell Bone Collector that it's illegal to use the Teleport move in the game of basketball. He is lightning quick and he broke the scoring record in his first game with 56 points. In the same game, Spinmaster broke the assists record by dishing 12 assists. If you want to add Rookie of the Season, Matt Lewis' rebounding record for Thrillers, that makes it 3 record holders in this team.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

4 8 EAST Young Gunnaz
General Manager Alphonso White took Flight at the All Star Game and the momentum is carrying over in this team. The Relics-Young Gunnaz stable is 2-0 in the first week and something tells us they learned a lot from their rookie mistakes.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

5 - EAST The Problem
Mr. Triple Dub Steven Watts' new team is intimidating with size and lightning speed. They showed Team Play that they can play team bal and GM Dennis Adams is already in the running for GM of the Season. "When you have a GM who runs a tight ship it makes it easier for me to work with them," said the Commish.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

6 2 EAST #1 Stunners
They fell apart in the closing seconds of the 4th quarter and this is the second straight season the Stunners opened the season with a loss. Last season's Playoffs proved that a winning record means nothing and a loss is nothing to worry about.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

7 4 EAST Black Out
GM Shane Stringer played his heart out in the first week and we haven't seen the former All Star play like that since the Inaugural Season. They kept up with Foundation until the 3rd quarter and actually got back momentarily in the 4th. Keith Allen is a beast and rightfully so with 42 points, eight 3-pointers.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

8 5 WEST Parking Lot Pimps
They only lost 1 game last season but they opened this season with a loss. They lost to the Defending Champs in the closing seconds and the game was closer than you think. Let's see how they fare up against the next best thing, Zero Balance. MVP vs. MVP. Sam Yeung vs. Gary Beaird.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

9 7 WEST Cali's Finest
They barely lost to Young Gunnaz and they stuck around to see the New Foundation. They got comments for days and it's only a matter of time until they hit the airwaves on the new podcast.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

10 - EAST Team-Play
General Manager "Big O" has a big squad and the team chemistry needs time just like all teams need time to gel. They could learn a thing or two against Black Out, a team that made a huge Playoffs push in the last few weeks last season.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

11 - EAST   Hardest Out
They will finally see some action and the League is asking, "Are you sure you want to play in Diamond Division?" Last chance because Diamond really is that competitive. They'll see some action against Cali's Finest in Week 2 if they decide to stay in Diamond.

RECORD

STREAK

1 2 WEST Relics
We're still trying to think of a creative name for the Relics and Young Gunnaz partnership. Old and the new? Senior Citizens and the Young'uns? Old-Kids? Whatever it's called, the League better take notice because the tandem went 2-0 on Week 1.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

2 3 EAST DSK
Won a noteworthy game against a dangerous Bank squad. Their founder, Steve Kim, confessed their team stood for Dirty South Koreans. Their international roster needs a new name like All-Around, Global Warming, maybe even Remix.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

3 7 WEST Still Fly
GM Jon Paras was bumpin' his IPOD, listenin' to Ballin' and didn't exactly know the right words to the song. Either that or he has his own rendition to the song. "I'm Super Fly, no lie, cuz I'm ballin... Ballin" He also confessed in the recent Podcast that he joined the "L" because of his rivalry with Angkor Wat and also because he was referred by Justin Reyes. Part 2 of the Reyes-Paras rivalry continues on Week 2.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

4 4 WEST Angkor Wat
Last season, they confessed they might not play because they needed rest. The competitiveness drove them back and despite a narrow loss to Relics, look for them to improve and stay climb the ranks. Here's a little Angkor Math for you. "Addition by subtraction."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

5 5 WEST Bank
They lost their first game but the addition of their new Center, Stan Matthews, and sharp-shooter Matt Stein will make them dangerous especially during Playoffs. What's more admirable is the fact that their core of Jay Mercardo, Darwin Vlado, and Aries Inguito have shown dedication and loyalty to the team.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

6 1 EAST Lingustic Legend's'
GM Dimitrios McKay ran a tight ship last season and the organization translated into wins. We're about to find out if "D" can run two successful teams at one time.

RECORD

STREAK

1 3 EAST Money Inc.
As much trash-talk as GM Andrew Persaud dishes, it might ruin his persona if the League tells everyone how loyal he is to Superstar and how much of a class act he really is. Rated R showcased how downright wicked his teams were but he's mellowed out a bit, hence the name change.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 0

WON 2

2 1 EAST Thrillers
Now that they're winning, everyone has something bad to say. The self proclaimed "class act organization" has been around since Day 1 and GM Justin Reyes isn't about to let his reputation be tarnished because when it comes down to it, it's not about winning games.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

3 2 EAST Abstract
They picked up where they left off and it's business as usual for the team. The top 4 teams are in Eastern Conference but last season's Championship game between two Western Conference teams means it doesn't matter what conference you're in.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

4 4 EAST Deep Penetration
They should feel bad for beating a bunch of old guys in 2nd II None but at the same time, they were missing their All Star Jack Moore. They only ran with 5, a Deep Penetration tradition dating back to their sophomore season.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

5 6 WEST Phenoms
They won their first game and are on the way to the top. GM Alvin Aguilar is begging the staff to replace the logo from Phemons to Phenoms but it might take a while. The Commish has had his spell check problems as well, like the time he spelled Hungry HUNGY Hippos.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

6 9 WEST 626ers
The way they smashed on Elements, they should be ranked higher than the 6th spot. Still we'd like to see them climb the ranking slowly from the 6th spot to maybe the 2 spot, then back to the 6 spot. They play Aztecs next and if they beat them, the staff will give them the 2 spot.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

7 10 WEST Aztecs
The Dunk Champion, Jerry Schiess, is a bonafide superstar in Gold. He earned the nickname Shaggy... and we're wondering who in 626'ers close to earning a nickname. GM Rodney Ching is the closest thing but Ching-gy doesn't quite sound right.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 0

WON 1

8 5 EAST Underdawgs
All Star Evan "Nunchucks" Nankung can hurt your team in so many ways. They kept it close against Thrillers before falling apart in the second half and GM Jon Parras has promised Underdawgs Reloaded by Week 2.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

9 7 EAST High Five
How will the team play without All Star Chris Pickens? How will they play with a revamped line-up? They played better than expected and gave Phenoms an overtime scare before losing by a narrow margin. Their front line improved with the addition of former All Star Melvin Watkins and the team is scrappier than ever.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

10 8 WEST Franchise
They want to play against Money Inc. but let's make one thing clear. Drew, "You gotta earn respect before you call the shots around here, so before you call us out, win some games first."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

11 11 WEST Hungry Hungry Hippos
They have the same youngsters from last season with and the addition of a few rookies are paying dividends already. Phenoms are finding success with their rookies and we're curious to see which team got the better pick.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

12 12 WEST Elements
Bros before Pros. It's an admirable gesture but with the rest of the teams beefing up, they might want to hire a pro or two. Paging Gopez, Johnny G, and Paul San Jose. The bar they set for MySpace team pages is so high, we don't see any teams surpassing that anytime soon.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

13 - EAST Fabulous
It might take them a while to adjust to Superstar's culture and the teams are more than willing to help out. Organization is key and being on time is a must. GM Jon Paras is doing a fabulous job of running Underdawgs and Superfly and maybe it's best that he help out the Fabolous GM as well.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

14 - WEST   2nd II None
Relics scrappy defensive forward, Mike Evangelista, started his own team  with his uncles and close friends. His team, Relics, is in the Platinum Division and his intention is to just have fun in the recreation division with his team. We're sure glad he got the memo about the Gold Division being recreation and for that, we salute him.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 1

LOST 1

15 - EAST Team Kabibbles
Team Kabobs, Team Kabootles, Team Kamani. Who Komes up with these names? A non-competitive Outkast Connection plus Outkast try-out players equals a lighter side, humbler side you won't see that often. The same "Bad Boys" persona doesn't apply to Team Komedy.
