STREAK

1 - WEST Deacons
Two-time Champions. Enough said. Don Clark is the Jerry West of the "L" and he has back-to-back Championships to prove it. The team from Hollywood is the first team to repeat and a 3-peat will be a difficult task.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

2 - EAST #1 Stunners
Despite their loss, they should be commended for the way the almost beat the defending Champs, Deacons. It took three OTs and we're wondering what off season moves GM Mark Pagdilao will make to improve his team.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

3 - WEST Zero Balance
Undefeated first season. They are the first team to go all the way without a loss but what's more disappointing is Mike Mason's absence in the All Star Game. I guess we'll have to wait for Mike Mason vs. Mark Moton and the scheduling committee has scheduled that highly anticipated match-up for Week 7.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

4 - EAST Black Out
GM Shane Stringer should be proud of how far his team went last season. They lost a couple of close games but when it mattered the most, his team performed and got as far as the Semis. Word on the street is he's recruiting heavily and he's ready to dominate in the regular season.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

5 - WEST Parking Lot Pimps
GMs Kevin Bonifacio and Sam Yeung are back for a second season after the staff ignored throughout most of last season. "We like to ignore rookies until they make an impact, the best one was writing about their game when we didn't even watch it." MVP Sam Yeung proved his worth and you can bet he'll have people's attention in the new Diamond Division.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

6 - WEST Foundation
Their GM is very disappointed at the fact that Matt Lewis is out 6-8 weeks because of a rib injury. "Thanks a lot Adrian," joked the GM. "It's all part of basketball but now the team is set on collecting a few bruised bones themselves after they let their season tick away in 1st Round. "It's gonna be a B.C. season..."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

7 - WEST Cali's Finest
They dominated in the Regular Season but faced an early exit just like the other elite teams in the Platinum Division. Ola Kaote has reliable teammates in GM DImitrios McKay and Sean Berard and there's no question this won't be a 1-man show any longer.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

8 - EAST Young Gunnaz
The Commish knew that Walnut Rec wasn't ready for General Manager Alphonso "Flight" White and the Slam Dunk Contest further proved his point. If you missed Flight dunking over his teammate for his very first dunk of the Slam Dunk Contest, then you really gotta see that video courtesy of Elemental Productions.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - EAST The Problem
General Manager Dennis Adams is making a good impression with the League staff. First to pay, first to submit logos. Just like what Head Official Reggie Ramirez said, "You gotta want it!" The Diamond Division better be careful because any team with Mr. Triple Double Steven Watts will be a dangerous team.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - EAST Team-Play
General Manager Orlando Williams was instrumental in the Parking Lot Pimps Platinum Division leading 7-1 record. Both teams have moved up but we're wondering why "Big O" started his own squad.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - EAST   Hardest Out
Still waiting on a roster and they Bye week may benefit the squad. We're hoping they can come out to see some of the Diamond Division games so that GM Joseph Cha can re-think his decision on playing in the Diamond Division. "For a new team to play in the highest division...I don't know about that." hinted the team analysts.

RECORD

STREAK

1 - EAST Lingustic Legend's'
Cali's FInest affiliate will look do dominate in Platinum as well. We're wondering what the roster looks like but if it's anything like Cali's Finest, then they should be worth their rank.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

2 - WEST Relics
One of the smartest GMs in the league, Ernest Pablo, has already announced that this might be one of the last season's for him. "Injuries, fatherhood... but I'm hoping the third season for Relics will equal Championship glory."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

3 - EAST DSK
A name change is in order and GM Harry Yoo has done his best to recruit some big guys for his team. They have the guards ready to play but if they can beef up the front line, they'll finally make a Playoffs push.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

4 - WEST Angkor Wat
Anger What should be upset at their first season in the Platinum Division especially after they dominated the Gold Division in their rookie season. We know how much they liked the shirts and a second set of Championship shirts is what they're gunnin' for. 2 Championships in 3 Seasons...ah-sum.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

5 - WEST Bank
Main Event has their eyes on the Bank and word is they're still bitter on how Bank beat them in the 1st Round of the Playoffs last season. Props to GM Aries Inguito on proving that experience is the most valuable asset.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

6 - EAST Yhatus
Ya-tus. Yee-tus. It's pronounced Why-Hate-Us and B-LO-DA-RIM did what was best and that was a jersey change. They ditched the yellow BLO colors and have adopted the Nuggets inspired teal jerseys. "Can ya'll hook us up with some jerseys? Mr. General Manager Lawrence Pelagio, Y-yallblockin?"
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

7 - WEST Still Fly
GM Jon Paras is givin props to his hometown Du-Rock and stayed true to his word by moving Underdawgs up. We clown a lot in here but serious props to Jon for not backing down on the Platinum team.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

8 - EAST Global Gym
GM Lalo Arroyo stuck with his homies and won't be playing in Thrillers this season. We're wondering if some of his former teammates are bitter and Main Event is affiliated with Thrillers and Foundation, teams that Lalo were part of.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

9 - EAST Game Breakers
Tommy Avalos wants to make sure Game Breakers win their opener so he will have a little something for Remix GM, Chris Mosley. "I figured if I play him all 40 minutes for Abstract, he'll be tired when he plays against us."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - EAST The Association
The rivalry between DSK and The Association will surely highlight Rivalry Week, Week 7. General Manager, Efehi Ogbebor, has been battling Harry Yoo's teams in Cal Poly Intramural games and the rivalry will now play out in our league.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - EAST Remix
For weeks, GM Chris Mosley has guaranteed that his team will dominate Platinum Division and he'll have to start off against Tommy Avalos, the man who introduced him to Superstar Basketball.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

- - WEST   Main Event
GM Justin Reyes is doing his part in building the Empire. He's already taken Thrillers into a successful franchise and he's hoping the Midas touch will rub off in the Platinum Division.

- - EAST   TBD
Exactly that. To Be Determined. We're waiting for a roster...TBD.

A late entry to the league, the not so average Ken Ngarayawongse will have his first try at managing a team.

RECORD

STREAK

1 - EAST Thrillers
The Empire started Year II 0-1 with affiliate Smokin' Aces losing in the Women's Division. Still, they're eager to prove that last season's early first round exit was a fluke. The Empire went on a 12 game winning streak last season and they can easily go 3-0 to finish Week 1.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

2 - EAST Abstract
It will be interesting to see if GM Tommy Avalos passes the ball to his teammate, Chris Mosley. They'll face each other in the Platinum Division on Opening Week and we're wondering if Tommy will make like Beastie Boys and Sabotage.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

3 - EAST Money Inc.
BBC. Rated R. Money Inc. The name changes doesn't stop and Andrew Persaud can't seem to make up his mind on what his team's identity is. "It might as well be Karma Chamaleon," said their rival Empire.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

4 - EAST Deep Penetration
They're back for a third season and their sophomore year was a huge disappointment. After missing out on the Playoffs and after experiencing some basketball karma, they're hoping the 3rd time around is the charm.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

5 - EAST Underdawgs
GM Jon Paras proved to the staff that he can throw a house a party and he was 'pimpin' it on the real. "He's like a midget Hugh Hefner." He's been trash talking on MySpace and GM Justin Reyes has strict orders not to retaliate.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

6 - WEST Phenoms
General Manager, Alvin Aguilar, was so ecstatic about making the Playoffs he was starting to lose his mind over it. "I rewarded my players by getting some new shirts." It was too bad the team shirts was spelled Phemons. "Well, what had happened was, we played like we were He-man...and what had happened..."
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

7 - EAST Hi Five
Paging Chris Pickens, paging Chris Pickens. Their GM, Gaylord Somera won't have his All Star this season but their free agent pick up, Melvin Watkins will try to fill the youngster's big shoes. Gaylord recently graduated from graphic design school and when you see the t-shirt he designed for Superstar Basketball, you'll immediately want to wear it.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

8 - WEST Franchise
Their GM, Raymond Cardenas has been the busiest General Manager in the off-season. He acquired the services of the Camarena Brothers and has been vocal in the forums and on the MySpace message boards.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 0

-

9 - WEST 626ers
They won their only game last season without GM Rodney Ching who was too busy hustlin in Sin City. The poker face didn't do much last season in the Platinum Division but that may be a bluff, setting up a royal flush in the recreation division.
