Name Change - $360 Teams that are
returning from the current season and are
looking for a name change will be $20 extra.
Logos and banners have to be re-designed.
New Teams - $380 Teams that have
previously played in the past and are coming
back will be considered as a New Team. If you
have any questions, please e-mail the League
Commissioner.
Advanced Referee Fees - $280 Don't go through the hassle
of having to collect ref fees on game days. Have
your players pay for their ref fees up front so
even if they don't show up, they've already paid
for ref fees.
INTEREST LIST / REGISTERED LIST In the past, teams
have registered on the website and have shown up
as registered teams on the website. This season
will be different.
Teams that register will show up on the
Interest List. It shows that you're interested
in playing and you're in the process of putting
a team together.
The Registered List means you're
official. You will show up on the Registered
list and you will be guaranteed games on the 1st
Week after you make a down payment of $150 or
make a full payment.
COST Returning Teams - $340
New Teams - $380
Advanced Ref fees - $280
Superstar Basketball has
doubled in each of its first 3 seasons from 6 teams, to
12, to 26 teams. This Spring, we will cap out at 40
teams. The League is currently deciding whether it will
stay with 2 Divisions (Gold and Platinum) or expand with
a new Upper Level division, Diamond Division.
This coming season, we will require a $150 deposit
for teams that can't pay the full amount. Why are we
doing this? -All TEAMS WILL HAVE TEAM STATS.
- ALL PLAYERS WILL BE INCLUDED IN OVERALL STATS.
For teams that cannot pay the full amount an option to
pay on a weekly basis will be introduced.
As the League grows bigger, the demand
for statistics to be delivered on time will grow and to
fund the back-end operations of providing stats on time,
Referee fees will increase from $30 to $35. We are
looking for Stats people and staff writers. Please

Superstar
Basketball League is progressive and is open-minded to
changes. As long as the process is easier for players,
for General Managers, and for League officials, we will do
what we can to make sure your experience with Superstar
Basketball is superior to other leagues.
GOLD DIVISION
There will be no
such thing as a DEADLINE to add players. Players MUST
play (or be present to take a roster picture) in the first 2 games to be considered as part of
the team. After 2 games, the ROSTER IS FINAL. If a
player cannot make it to the first 2 games, the player
isn't part of the team, and will be considered a
'RINGER'. If a player is injured, he/she can still
show up in street clothes but will require to show up so
that his/her roster picture can be taken.
What does this solve?
Teams cannot dispute that a player was added on an
e-mail that was sent via text message, e-mail, Nintendo
or what have you.
PLATINUM DIVISION
Teams in the Platinum Division that are "hooked" up with
a team from the Gold Division can add players ONLY from
their Gold Division team until Sunday, Week 4. Teams
from Gold Division and Platinum Division can "hook" up
until Week 2. If the player from the Gold Division is
playing for a different Platinum Division team, they
cannot be added to the team. Only 1 player can play for
1 team per division.

Every team that
plays in our league isn't just a team, it is a
FRANCHISE. We provide high quality services to make sure
that Superstar Basketball League has the honor in
providing you the opportunity of participating in our
basketball league. Our unique services for teams
include: archive of all games, customization of team
logos, game previews in our weekly newsletter, and the
chance for teams to order personalized basketball
jerseys.
Our teams are
diverse in talent, age, race, and character. Despite our
differences, one thing that we all have in common is our
love for basketball. Through basketball, we promote
brotherhood, unity, respect, and understanding. We have
ZERO tolerance for fighting.
Team Captains are
the owners of the franchise. They have full authority in
making roster changes, team name changes, and the
privilege of participating in league decisions. We work
with them to make sure your franchise is fully
accommodated.
OUR GOALS
In our first full
year, our main priority is to maintain quality
throughout our growth process. We started with the
original 6 teams: Dynasty, Foundation, Game Breakers,
Natural Born Thrillers, So Cal All Stars and Team
Outkast. In the second season, the amount of teams
doubled and we added Walnut Rec Center as one of our
gyms.
We are
excited because new teams will provide fresh
competition, bigger rivalries, and better talent. We
will do our best to surpass expectations while adding
new innovative features. Currently, our features
include: Game Logs, Team Profiles, Player of the Week,
Game of the Week, Nightcap (recap of games), Sortable Stats, Power Rankings for players
and teams, All Star Game, and of End of the Year Awards.
We truly believe
that each player deserves more than just an opportunity
of playing in a league. We believe that they should
experience the complete basketball experience because
basketball isn't just a game, it's a lifestyle.
