The sequel to last season's "Game of the Season" had a different ending this time around as two players got into a shoving match with a minute left in the game.
Elements' Noel Abellera and Hungry Hungry Hippos Ben A. got into a shoving match after one apparently used "dirty tactics" to distract his opponent.
"He twisted my nipple...that was uncalled for," Noel said after the incident. He later made contact with the league with the following statement:
"I just wanted to apologize for my actions during the hippos/elements game. I know that there is no tolerance for fighting in the league and I'm willing to take responsibility for what happened. I was just reacting to an unfortunate play with a shove "
General Managers from both teams were interviewed regarding the misconduct of their respective players.
"It's weird, they see each other at church all the time. At the same time, there were a lot of fans/families from our church watching the game. Hopefully we can all move on."
Both players are serving 1 game suspensions on Week 8.

After speaking with Team-Play's General Manager, Orlando Williams, the league has fined, Tee, $50 for misconduct and the player has already served his suspension on Week 7.
Mr Williams issued the following statement on August 23, 2007.
"It was brought to my attention that [Tee #9] was yelling, cursing, and my personal worst "displaying poor sportsmanship to the Refs & own team/ team mates. I know we have friends, family and some are children, that come out to watch our games. We don't need that type of disrespect coming from a player in the league. I just want to apologize as the GM of Team-Play."

The amount of teams in the League is growing and the league is announcing a new division, Diamond Division. The newly formed division will be comprised of the elite talent and the most competitive teams should be in this division. "Because Walnut Rec Center will not let our players dunk, we will do our best to acquire another gym so that our players can dunk freely." said the League Commish.
