LEAGUE MEETING

 

I.                    Code of Conduct

a.       ZERO TOLERANCE for FIGHTING.

b.       Clean up trash after the end of the game.

c.       Trash-talking on MySpace is a privilege for now but if an incident occurs because of it then we will remove this privilege. Trash talking in the forums isn’t allowed because the forum is strictly business.

 

II.                  Staff

a.       Statistics – We need to have at least 2 or 3 people working the stats table. Only these people should be tallying up the stats. The other person should work the time or narrate.

b.       Define stats categories

                                                               i.      Assists are under stats table discretion. When it’s more than 2-3 steps, an assist isn’t credited to the passer.

                                                             ii.      Fouls defined.

                                                            iii.      6 personal fouls allowed for Diamond Division only.

 

III.                Web

a.       Historically, the first 2 weeks is off because teams are still finalizing their rosters. After Week 3 – Week 4, everything should be accurate.

b.       New Features:

                                                               i.      “Podcast” with Terrence Taylor and Aaron Boyd.

                                                             ii.      Images will rotate like ESPN.com site.

 

IV.                Roster Management

a.       Fees are due on July 20. Teams that have not made a payment will not be allowed to play their first game.

b.       Rosters are final as of July 29, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. NO EXCEPTIONS.

c.       Banners & Logos will be done before Season Opener.

d.       General Managers should address ALL issues regarding rules, teams, conduct, etc.

e.       NO-RINGERS. The stats-keeper and the opposing General Manager may ask the player in question.

f.          Players must bring PHOTO ID. Stats-keepers have the authority not to allow a player to participate if the player does not bring photo ID.

 

V.           FINES

a.     $80 - Reinstatement fee for teams that forfeit.
b.     $50 - Reinstatement fee for any suspended player involved in altercations.
c.     $40 - Return fee for all checks that bounce.
d.     $5 -   Failure to leave the bench clean will result in a $5 fine. Stats-keepers, refs, staff may assess the fine but there must be photographic evidence showing exact time and date.


VI.           1 Year Banquet

a.          July 19, Thursday @ Level III. 7:30 p.m.

b.          We need everyone’s participation. We will announce yearly awards and more importantly we are celebrating our 1st Year.

c.          Hosted by Luke Montilla. We are going to read to honor the Season Awards… then announce the winner for each Year Award.
