STREAK

1 1 EAST Parking Lot Pimps
Unstoppable. Through 6 weeks, they've completely dominated and they remain the only undefeated team in the Platinum Division. FYI: The undefeated curse has taken out the likes of Mindstate (Winter 2007) & Game Breakers (Fall 2006).
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 0

Won 6

2 4 WEST Cali's Finest
They have proven that they are part of the elite and they were rewarded with their highest ranking to date. Unlike the Gold Division, the Western Conference is crowded and 5 teams above .500 are competing for a Playoff spot.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Won 3

3 3 WEST Xplosion
Last season's downfall was on the verge of repeating... but the team was saved by a Rookie who refused to let the team lose. They have a Big 3 that can get the job done and a couple of rookies who can get the job done.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Won 1

4 3 WEST Deacons
That's how valuable Mark Moton really is. Big man had to take care of business and was unavailable on Sunday afternoon. The team barely loses to Cali's Finest and the loss drops them all the way to the 4 spot.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Lost 1

5 5 WEST Angkor Wat
Cleaned house during their double-header against Islanders and 626'ers. Their finding out how hard the Platinum Division really is and their stats aren't getting padded like they were in the Gold Division. Bottom line is... if you want to be the best, you gotta beat the best. Deacons vs. Angkor Wat in Week 7 should be one of the top games in Rivalry Week.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Won 3

6 8 EAST #1 Stunners
The smallest guy on the court practically led the his own team back after facing a huge deficit against Young Gunnaz. General Manager, Mark Pagdilao went bananas and hit 3 straight three-pointers, the last one on Knox's grill for a buzzer beater win.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

Won 3

7 11 WEST Foundation
They took care of business granted several players had to play 3 straight games just to get the job done. The shoot-out between Christian Gopez and Khorn Leng for Week 6 should be a good head-to-head match up.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

Won 2

8 6 EAST DSK
They are playing .500 ball but the inconsistency needs to stop if they are going to make a run for a Playoff spot. Sean Dacumos has proven how valuable he is to the team and GM Harry Yoo isn't enough for them to compete.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

Lost 1

9 7 EAST Young Gunnaz
It's been a roller coaster ride for the Young Gunnaz. They are capable of blowing teams out but so far, they have played to the level of their competition. They lose a close game for the second week in a row, this time to #1 Stunner.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 3

Lost 2

10 10 EAST Freestyle
Under normal circumstance, the team wouldn't be granted an extra game but because Mindstate and Dynasty folded, and 626'ers taking their spots, Freestyle will get an extra game against 626'ers.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

Won 1

11 9 WEST Islanders
Played 6 games already and will have the next 2 weeks off. The extra time off should help them further develop their game plan and they need to defeat an elite team from their conference.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 4

Lost 2

12 12 EAST Black Out
They've lost a lot of close games and this week, they lost an OT game against Xplosion. The weak Eastern Conference gives them a chance at making one last run to make the Playoffs.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 4

Lost 3

13 13 WEST Global Gym
Gotta hit the gym or something. Their Playoffs berth is almost gone and their core players have shown disinterest throughout.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 4

Lost 4

14 14 EAST 626'ers
They lost some close games and it's hard to bash on a team that's opened the season with 2 straight double-headers. A game against the Game Breakers might stop the bleeding momentarily.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 4

Lost 4

15 15 EAST Game Breakers
There was a time when they dominated. Three seasons ago to be exact. Once the Diamond Division is implemented for all the elite players, Game Breakers need to stay in Platinum while everyone else moves up.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 5

Lost 5

15 14 EAST Dynasty
OFFICIALLY TAPPED OUT
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 1

Won 1

16 13 WEST Mindstate
DUNZO w/ a couple of players BLACK-LISTED.

RECORD

STREAK

1 1 WEST Zero Balance
Give them the chip. Five weeks into the season, there's no team that can beat them and the Thrillers vs Zero Balance match up will only happen on Week 8 if both teams remain undefeated. Rated R will look to spoil that when the play Thrillers in Week 6. Aztecs may be reeling but they can potentially beat Zero Balance.
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 0

Won 5

2 2 EAST Thrillers
It's mandatory that if you win the crown in the Gold Division, that you move up to Platinum Division. Angkor Wat had to...so if Thrillers win, why should there be an exeption. GM Justin Reyes: "I love Gold DIvision, I want to play with friends. Wah-wah-wah."
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 0

Won 5

3 3 EAST Rated R Superstars
We're hoping for a Rated R vs. Abstract match up for Week 8. OG-6 is really getting to General Manager Andrew Persaud's head. Imagine if these teams are fighting for the last spot in the Playoffs in Week 8. It could happen.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Won 3

4 6 EAST Abstract
Flying under the radar for quite some time but after a 4-1 start, the cellar dweller team has made quite a turnaround. Credit to the new GM, Tommy Avalos for getting the right personnel.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 1

Won 3

5 5 EAST Deep Penetration
Their guys are legitimately injured and they've been playing with only 4 players for quite some time.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 1

Won 2

6 4 EAST B-LO-DA-RIM
Suffered a huge loss against Zero Balance but who can blame them. Zero Balance is a force to be reckoned with and we don't see any team stopping them this season.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

Lost 1

7 9 EAST Outkast Connection
They are through playing games and their full squad against Bank proves they're ready to make a commitment just to make it to the Playoffs. In the crowded Eastern Conference, it's going to take every game just to make it.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

Won 2

8 10 EAST Underdawgs
The "Under-pups" have decided to join in the fun commenting on the Myspace message boards but they need some lessons. They're a lil too nice and a few of the veterans can show the rookies how it's done. Ask OG-6, Arrogance, or newcomer Abstract's PrettyboyMosley how it's done.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

Won 2

9 8 WEST Aztecs
Two straight losses and the team shouldn't be worried. In the lowly Western Conference, they can afford to relax, do some fishing, rest up the guys, but come Playoff time, GM Don Clark means business.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 3

Lost 2

10 12 WEST Relics
Back on the winning track after beating High Five but Andrew Knox can't do it by himself. The emergence of Ryan Capito make the two a legitimate guard-forward combo, but that's about it. Their GM is still injured and if that shoulder injury wasn't bad enough, that nasty fall against High Five only made things worse.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 3

Won 1

11 7 EAST High Five
The tough schedule got to them very quickly. The rise and fall of High Five isn't over. They can make a quick turn around but it will have to be against teams from their conference.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 3

Lost 3

12 11 WEST Bank
Lost a big game in Week 5 against Outkast Connection but in the lowly Western Conference, they can still earn a spot in the Playoffs. Sad but true.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

Lost 3

13 14 WEST Hungry Hungry Hippos
These guys were so amped to play against Rated R, they actually stayed in the game for the first 14 minutes until Rated R finally outplayed them. Their bitter rivalry against Elements is losing steam only because Elements is showing up to their games to show support. We think they're scared and Hippos think so too.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 4

Lost 2

14 13 WEST Phenoms
Relics vs. Phenoms for Rivalry Week should be a classic match-up but for now, we'll settle for a Hippos and Phenoms match-up. We're looking forward to the 2 biggest GMs going head-to-head.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 4

Lost 2

15 15 WEST Franchise
Franchise vs. Elements in Week 6. The prelude to Rivarly Week. Which reminds us, who is Franchise's rivals?
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 4

Lost 4

16 16 WEST Elements
Dear Hippos,
We've all given up on our own season and so we'll show our support and cheer you on when you guys play an hour before us. Some may accuse us of riding the bandwagon, some may say we're scouting, but simply put, if we can't win Franchise owner of the season, then we'll force it on you.

P.S. If you can't beat them, join them.
P.S.S. We only wrote this because even the most critical staff writers feel that Elements can't beat Hippos.
