STREAK

1 1   Ladies Reign
They're trying to make like the Patriots and continue their perfect season. Macuil has the best chance at beating them and this could be a Finals preview.
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 0

WON 6

2 2   Macuil
Critics are counting them out against the Reign but we may very well be looking at a Finals preview.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 2

WON 2

3 3   Smokin' Aces
The ladies voted on an extra week giving the ladies 7 games for the season. They're hoping to get lucky and beat the Loop because the 4th seed will have to face Ladies Reign in the 1st Round.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 5

LOST 2

4 4   The Loop and Then Some
A match-up with Macuil is what they're playing for (via tie-breaker) on the last week of the regular season.

STREAK

1 1 WEST Showtime (Deacons)
Two teams with similar records for the 1 and 2 spot but Deacons' win over Young Gunnaz (Week 5) gives them the tie-breaker for the top seed.
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 1

WON 3

2 2 EAST Young Gunnaz
Andrew Knox, as good as a defender he is, was almost on the receiving end of an Amos Battle dunk. Stunners want a shot at the 2 spot so how about a Week 1 rematch for Week 8.
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 1

WON 2

3 3 EAST #1 Stunners
Despite the loss to Deacons, they have four players who can score at will but GM Mark Pagdilao has to be worried if they face Deacons in the Playoffs.
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 2

LOST 1

4 4 WEST Foundation 2.0
If anyone knows how to eat Deacons, its Shaggy. They play Deacons again as Shaggy plays his second game for the defending Champs.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

WON 1

5 5 WEST Bank
Deacons only loss of the season was Bank's biggest win of the season. Although the match-up with Pimps is even at 1-1, Bank has the higher seed based on that win.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 1

6 7 EAST Parking Lot Pimps
With the game virtually decided and the Pimps avenging their loss on Week 1, Chris Yeung tried to rise above Bank's All Star Giyoh Shey....but got denied. As nice as that dunk would have been, Giyoh's block was that much nicer.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

WON 1

7 8 WEST Black Out
In seasons past, they've improved during the course of the season but they've done the same exact opposite this season. Look for them to pick up momentum against GM Aries Inguito's Bank.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 5

LOST 5

8 6 WEST Team-Play
GM Orlando Williams found early season success but the team has struggled since.  His former team, Parking Lot Pimps has more wins but a win over the Pimps could catapult Team Play to a higher ranking.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 5

9 9 EAST Hardest Out
Contact the Commish.

RECORD

STREAK

1 1 EAST The Association
They call themselves bosses and USUCK is looking at 2 straight losses. There's no way to stop Kenneth Ubom and without DeVan, their Championship hopes are gone.
Stats  I  Roster 7 - 0

WON 7

2 2 WEST USUCK
USUCK players: "No Derrick Devan means no chance at beating Association."
They nearly defeated TROY without two of their scorers, Kevin Valmonte and Devan but their GM would rather have it this way, playing as underdogs.
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 1

LOST 1

3 3 WEST Relics
Dear GM Ernest Pablo of Relics,
Remember back when TROY beat you and you wrote an elaborate letter on how TROY had too many Diamond Division players on their squad and it was unfair. Well how ironic was it that you beat us by 30 points with your 3 Diamond players but hey, we're not one to complain or write about it.

Your old buddy,
Angkor Wat.

P.S. We're just joking...  but Ken Ngarayawongse of TROY really wrote this letter.
P.S.S. Okay maybe he didn't but USUCK is laughing.
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 2

WON 3

4 8 EAST TROY
The record-breaking season for leading scorer, "The Kid' won't be complete without a Championship.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

WON 1

5 4 WEST Full Clip
For 3 quarters of the game, they were hanging with Association but in the final quarter, they couldn't stop Kenneth Ubom and The Association.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

LOST 1

6 7 EAST Street Fam Hustlas
They've caught on real fast and all this talk about next season has the Fam motivated to make noise this season. Their win over TROY was their biggest win so far and they're hoping to duplicate that success against Relics.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

WON 2

7 5 EAST Money Inc.
A season ago, Money Inc and Aztecs were playing for the Gold Division title.  With four 3-4 teams hoping for a chance at post-season play, GM Andrew Persaud once again sees his nemesis, Aztecs, on Week 8.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 2

8 6 WEST Angkor Wat
They have too many weapons not to make the Playoffs (Khorn Leng, John Muro, Joseph Flores) and they actually play team ball. Still Fly has wanted Angkor Wat since their inception and playing for a Playoffs spot only adds to the rivalry.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 1

9 9 WEST Aztecs
Dejavu. They eliminated BBC from making the Playoffs (Winter 2007) by beating them on Week 8. Could we see history repeating itself?
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 3

10 10 WEST Still Fly
The premier of Superstar Radio (Summer 2007, Week 1) made noise with its first guest, Still Fly GM, Jon Paras. who called out Angkor Wat. "We joined this league because we want to beat the Wat...we'd like to call them out for Rivalry Week." Still fly could sneak into the Playoffs if they defeat the Wat.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

WON 3

11 11 EAST Game Breakers
Easy win against Remix gave GM Tommy Avalos the last laugh over former teammate, Beau Reyes.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 5

WON 1

12 12 WEST Silent But Deadly
GM Victor Ng: "We're dropping down to Gold next season because we suck."
USUCK GM: "I didn't say it, but I'm glad he spoke the truth."

RECORD

STREAK

1 1 WEST 626'ers
The Game of the Season was 626'ers vs. Franchise. The intensity was so high even Deep Penetration had this to say: "Of course we want to play for a Championship, but this would be a good Championship game. They both really don't like each other."
Stats  I  Roster 7 - 0

WON 7

2 2 WEST Franchise
GM Raymond Cardenas knew that loss against 626'ers was coming a mile away. He also knows Championships aren't won on Rivalry Weekend and more importantly, he also knows that Playoffs is what matters. Last time he checked, 626'ers still choked. In case you forgot...
Stats  I  Roster 6 - 1

LOST 1

3 3 EAST Underdawgs
What's scary is if that if Team Evan loses to Hippos, the Hungry Hungry Hippos will own a tie-breaker and they'll earn a Playoff spot.
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 2

WON 2

4 5 EAST Outkast Connection
A first ever Retro game takes place on Week 8. The two-time St. Martha's Basketball League Champions face the Runner-ups and expect the dusty gold Nikes to be laced up for the old-timers.
Stats  I  Roster 5 - 2

WON 4

5 4 WEST Regulators
Why is Money Shot ranked below Regulators? There's a 3-way tie between the 5-7 teams. Regulators win over Underdawgs (Week 2) serves as the tie-breaker.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

LOST 1

6 8 EAST Money Shot
Money Shot hasn't played Nusantara but their recent win over Regulators (Week 7) would give them a higher ranking over Nusantara. GM Rocky Anciano: "All i know is that Week 8 is a must win situation for both teams as a loss could mean a longer break to dwell on things =\ "
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

WON 1

7 10 EAST Nusantara
No one expected them to beat Fabulous. No One. A win over run-and-gun Money Shot will give them the magic number, 5 wins, to make the Playoffs. There isn't 1 stand-out player on both teams so expect EVERY player to go all out.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 3

WON 2

8 6 EAST Abstract
Even Abstract has a chance to lock a Playoff spot but a double-header on Week 8? They're too experienced to let the opportunity slip by and if anyone can beat Franchise, it's the sharp-shooters from Abstract.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 3

LOST 2

9 11 EAST Deep Penetration
Magic number is 5 as in 5 wins. First task is to beat Outlawz. Second task is to beat Abstract. It's not the same team anymore but Deep Penetration defeated Abstract (Week 8, Winter 2007) so they've been in this situation before.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 3

WON 1

10 7 EAST Fabulous
All they can hope for now is a win over the struggling Regulators. Certain scenarios have to play out for the team to make the Playoffs.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 3

11 9 EAST Stylin' On You
Slim chance at making the Playoffs even if they win against High Five. Every game counts and the rookies are learning that.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

LOST 2

12 14 WEST Hungry Hungry Hippos
Win. That's Captain James motto for Week 8 so expect him to put his best players on the court. They have a chance to make the Playoffs if they were to upset Underdawgs.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

WON 2

13 15 WEST Phenoms
A special Retro game for "Funk Phenomenon" has the Phenoms playing against "Flight One" (Outkast Connection)
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 4

WON 2

14 12 WEST Outlawz
They have a chance to upset the 626'ers and still make the Playoffs. Plain and simple, beat the top ranked them and go undefeated this weekend and they'll leap frog all the other teams.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 4

LOST 2

15 13 WEST High Five
They've been under-achieving all season so they'll match up against rookies
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 5

LOST 2

16 16 WEST Elements
They were evenly matched against Eyong and The Hippos...before they started seeing double. With the Hippos brining the Haim Twins, there was no way they could match-up and are now down 1-2 against their rival.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 6

LOST 4

17 17 EAST 2nd II None
A Week 8 re-match of last season has Elements playing Second II None on the last week of the season. Will Gopez go for another career-high?
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 7

LOST 7

"Basketball is more than just a game, it's a lifestyle."
