RECORD

STREAK

1 1   Ladies Reign
They don't see themselves losing anytime soon but then again, Superstar Basketball has only had one unbeaten team win the Championship and that was Gold Division's Zero Balance in Spring 2007.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 0

WON 3

2 3   Macuil
They have the team chemistry to upset end the Reign and the team possess the second longest winning streak in the Women's Division.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 1

WON 2

3 2   The Loop and Then Some
They face the only team they've beaten, Smokin' Aces. They've been on a slump as of late and a win over Aces will help The Loop regain their confidence.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 2

LOST 2

4 4   Smokin' Aces
They can beat The Loop and if they do and they need to rely on their speed to outrun their opponents. If the Loop plays a half-court game, it may be a long morning for the Aces.

STREAK

1 1 EAST Young Gunnaz
The Fontana team has their best start in franchise history and after weeks of watching the Deacons, they finally have a date with the Hollywood team on Week 5. GM Alphonso White said it best, "We just want to party in Hollywood like they did in the banquet."
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 0

WON 4

2 2 WEST Showtime (Deacons)
They failed to match the team's best start losing to Bank in a very close game, without a bench. Moving forward, the veterans will take on the upstart Young Gunnaz, a team hoping to play at the Anaheim Convention Center for the Championships.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 1

LOST 1

3 4 EAST #1 Stunners
Forward Martin Terrence proved he's just as clutch as GM Mark Pagdilao is by nailing a game winning shot on Black Out. They face a slumping Team Play on Week 5.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 1

WON 3

4 5 WEST Bank
They beat the former Champs Deacons and have their eyes on the reigning Champs, Foundation.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 2

5 3 WEST Black Out
One minute you're on top, the next minute you're just average. GM Shane Stringer should have stuck with the team's motto. "PLAY WITH 4."
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

LOST 2

6 7 WEST Foundation 2.0
The return of their Defensive Player proved he's more valuable than any player in the team. After a decisive win over Team Play, they're on a mission to beat the All Star team known as Bank.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 2

7 6 WEST Team-Play
Besides Hardest Out, they own the second longest losing streak. They have the talent to make noise, they just need to put it together in the clutch.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

LOST 3

8 8 EAST Parking Lot Pimps
Their play against Hardest Out was impressive and they need to play with the same energy against Black Out.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

WON 1

9 9 EAST Hardest Out
A much needed bye will help the team prepare for the second half of the season. Will they scout their peers or watch football all day on Sunday instead?

STREAK

1 1 EAST The Association
Gotta give it to them for showboating at the right time. With the game on lock with 3 minutes left, their new PG wrapped the ball around one of Still Fly's PG's heads.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 0

WON 4

2 2 WEST USUCK
626'ers and Mindstate 2.0 is what the GM is calling his own team. Even if the team finishes at the top, the GM is quick to point out that 626'ers and Derrick's Playoffs hopes ended without a Championship. "We've done nothing yet."
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 0

WON 4

3 5 WEST Aztecs
Trailing by 20 points and 10 minutes burned from the clock, the team comes back and decisively beat Game Breakers. With a double-header on hand, they fail to repeat their performance against an upstart Street Fam Hustlas team.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 2

LOST 1

4 3 WEST Relics
The league strips them off their rookie but they have enough talent to be part of the elite in Platinum. Alpon-show White played through an injured ankle but the outcome would have been much different if he was a 100% w/ Ryan Capito  running the show.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 1

LOST 1

5 4 WEST Full Clip
In 3 and a half seasons, Rocky Anciano has never played against the Commish. The long awaited match-up between the two GMs will finally happen and Commish wants to remind Rocky that, "he still sucks..."
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 1

WON 2

6 10 EAST Street Fam Hustlas
They surprised an unsuspecting Aztecs and the San Bernardino team now own a two game winning streak. Their win puts them ahead of Money Inc and Agnkor Wat.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 2

7 7 EAST Money Inc.
USUCK is waiting for GM Persaud to call them out but even Andrew Persaud knows his limits. Paul Anderson's Street Fam is on a roll and Money Inc plans on breaking the tie-breaker with a < win.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 1

8 8 WEST Angkor Wat
Here's a trivia question. Guess wat team ended their season with 6 game winning streaks, twice. Angkor Wat did it in Winter 2007 and Summer 2007.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 1

9 13 EAST TROY
The Leagues takes their rookie away and Silent But Deadly proves that TROY can be beat.  They'll have two more double-headers and while many will see that as a disadvantage, it actually helps them prepare for the Playoffs, if they somehow find a way to make it.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 1

WON 1

10 9 EAST Remix
The team is on the bubble and they'll try to catch Relics on Sunday. They can pull the upset since Relics is playing the second set of their double-header right after they face SBD.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

LOST 3

11 6 EAST Game Breakers
Lost two in a row and blew a 20 point handicap lead against Aztecs who showed up late. Despite that, you have to give credit to GM Tommy Avalos for not punishing Aztecs with a forfeit.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

LOST 2

12 12 WEST Silent But Deadly
League Analyst: "They remind me of 626'ers. Once the team settles down and learns how to play in the League, they'll start dominating teams because of their team chemistry."
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

WON 1

13 11 WEST Still Fly
Their guards make them a fun team to watch but they are underachieving compared to last season. All Star Evan Namkung is fulfilling obligations with Bank and Underdawgs...we're wondering how different the season could have been with Evan Namkung.

1 2 WEST 626ers
Dear Rodney Ching,

Your recommendation on going for a Vegas getaway was great. You should have seen how excited Raymond (Monch) was when we went to Thunder from Down Under. Believe me, it was Fabulous. I'm sure Elements would have love to videotaped our weekend getaway, it was like the Real World / Road Rules. By the way, heard you beat Regulators, congrats again.

Tootles,
Franchise.
Stats  I  Roster 4 - 0

WON 4

2 1 WEST Franchise
Dear Raymond Cardenas,

Heard ya'll went to Vegas this weekend. Remember when we played you in the Playoffs and we went to Vegas the night before we played you...well we just hope the same thing doesn't happen to you guys. Imagine Rivalry Weekend if our team and your team is still undefeated? We'll do our part, you do yours... FYI, we saw your double-header for this week and we know how much you guys love to lose those double-headers.

Regards,
626'ers

P.S.
Having Paul Anderson back was a great move  =).
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 0

WON 3

3 6 EAST Underdawgs
Evan Almighty was a flop at the box office but Evan "Almighty" Namkung doesn't flop on the court. Known for flopping from big games is 626'ers and a Top 5 match-up between 1 and 3 headlines the Gold Division in Week 5.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 1

WON 2

4 8 EAST Abstract
Won 3 in a row but gets a bye until things outside of the actual game gets resolved. Despite the losses for his own team, Chris Mosley does a great job running Remix and we think it's time he takes over Abstract too.
Stats  I  Roster 3 - 1

WON 3

5 10 EAST Fabulous
They climb 5 spots in the rankings but their mini tournament with Elements and Franchise will put the team to a test. They looked Playoffs ready against Money Shot
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 1

WON 2

6 3 WEST Regulators
The good news, their tough schedule against 626'ers and Franchise is finally over. The bad news, a two game losing streak that could have been prevented if they had inside word on how to beat those top two team. *cough*  Rocky "The Spy" Anciano could have helped *cough*
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

LOST 2

7 4 EAST Money Shot
Family comes first. Rocky celebrated his son's 3rd birthday with lots of Adobo and Lechon and the team played three steps too slow. They played so slow, they reminded us of Phenoms on a race track.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

LOST 1

8 5 EAST Deep Penetration
Young Gunnaz Part II. Back in Spring 2007, Young Gunnaz lost a handful of games decided by 3 points or less. If they're unable to close out the close games, they'll face the same fate and that is, NO PLAYOFFS.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

LOST 2

9 7 EAST Stylin' On You
They have an easy match-up this week against Second II None but the road will be tougher after this weekend.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

LOST 1

10 9 EAST Nusantara
Radio personality, Alvin Aguilar, called them New Santa but Nusantara isn't giving away any more wins. They face an experienced yet combustible team, Outkast Connection.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 1

11 16 WEST Outlawz
Dismal start at 0-2 is now a foregone conclusion. The Playoffs is starting to look realistic but with 6 teams tied for the last 3 spots, every game is starting to look critical.
Stats  I  Roster 2 - 2

WON 2

12 11 EAST Outkast Connection
The uphill battle begins against teams ranked immediately above them. Stay focus, and their experience should help them against the rookies. Lose their temper, and it might be the beginning of the end.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 2

LOST 1

13 14 WEST Elements
The bye weekend gave All Star Gopez a week to train while All Star PG James Bernardo found his mojo. They'll be challenged in a mini 3-way match-up with Franchise and Fabulous.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 2

WON 1

14 12 WEST Hungry Hungry Hippos
Dear Hippos GM,

The brownies on Week 1 was great. The cupcakes AND brownies on Week 4 was even better. It's nice to know that our work is appreciated and we thank you for that.

With love,
Superstar Basketball Staff and Walnut Gym staff

Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

LOST 2

15 13 WEST High Five
The magic number is 5. If they can win 4 in a row, they'll still have a chance at making the Playoffs. With Lalo Arroyo out indefinitely with another bike mishap, the team is suddenly struggling with 2 straight losses.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

LOST 2

16 17 WEST Phenoms
They face a team that's ranked 9 spots higher than them and Money Shot is saying they have no shot at beating them. Their schedule has been a roller coaster while Money Shot has had an easy schedule thus far.
Stats  I  Roster 1 - 3

WON 1

17 15 EAST 2nd II None
They gave it their best but at least they're not the only team in the League without a win. Smokin Aces, Still Fly, Hardest Out  join them as the only winless teams in their respective divisions.
Stats  I  Roster 0 - 4

LOST 4
