As a reminder, the last day to add players to your roster was Sunday, October 21.....

Actually, because a lot of teams didn't play on Week 1, the deadline to add players is Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 11:59 p.m.

LASTLY...

There's been delays on the website because its still early part on the season. Me and some of my staff have been working on acquiring new gyms and we are this close to acquiring Rowland High School. Walnut Rec will may still be available in November and December.

Thanks.

Opening Weekend

COMMISH

The 6th season started and from the games we observed... I could have sworn it was Rivalry Weekend already. There were a lot of competitive games and the level of competition was already higher compared to last season. Already a lot of twists and turns and you'll see new faces on different teams...and you know what that means...

RIVALRIES are BORN.

So I just came back from the Anaheim Convention Center. We will have December 21 as our "Social Night". We will host our Diamond Division Championships there and it should be a great turnout.

The sportsmanship in our league is higher than any other league in the area...or so I've heard. The one aspect of the league that everyone respects is... simply that RESPECT. There is ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FIGHTING and after 6 Seasons, NO ONE HAS EVER FOUGHT. ZERO TOLERANCE means just that, ZERO TOLERANCE.

To all the rookies, we welcome you to the league with open arms. Remember the rules and if you haven't done so, read them now. You may be asked to get interviewed every now and then and we encourage you to be outspoken, no cursing, it's all fun and games. You'll have your picture taken for the roster so be prepared for that. Also bring Gatorade for the other team, rookies. Also the Commish likes L&L BBQ for lunch so get me a spam musubi and coke.

Oh and... thanks to the Hippos girls for those delicious Sprinkles cupcakes. I knew it was ya'lls birthdays but to give our staff some cupcakes was really thoughtful.

Thank You, Cupcakes.
Commish.
